Looking at some of the afternoon's signings and man, even some of the better vet min guys are coming off the board as the Lakers still wait for Kawhi (hurry up bro!)

If there's any consolation, the Lakers insider on Twitter and Reddit that's been right about several Lakers stuff over the last month and also knew about Horford to Philly even before Horford opted out is claiming Kawhi has called the Clips and let them know they are out of the race. It's Lakers and Raptors. Gotta have hope!

Got some damn good teams in the WC that aren't injured. Lakers aren't done reshaping the roster. Blazres upgraded, Same w/ the Jazz. The Nuggets should have another solid year.

Personally I think I have better chance chance of being the next mayor of Boulder than the Warriors getting through the stacked WC next year.

They are still decidedly worse than the Bucks, Celtics and Sixers as constructed. Depending on Kawhi the Raps and obviously the Nets with KD.

Their ceiling is everything going right and they get the four seed and a probable second round exit.

Not a bad squad but not among the contenders by any stretch.

I wonder if KD will be ready to play this season.

What exactly are Miami's core assets?

They are still a complete clusterfuck. Riley has completely mismanaged that team.

They still aren't going to have space next offseason to pair anyone with Butler and they don't have 1sts left to sweeten trades. By the time they do have those things, Butler is going to be 31 and on the way down. And now with him in the fold, they MIGHT be good enough to sneak into the playoffs and lose in the first round.

Getting a guy like Butler is never a loss. But to act like Riley is doing a good job is idiotic. He's been terrible the last 5 years.

I will say this one thing about Kawhi. I'll lose my fucking mind if he joins the Lakers but I'd also have a lot of respect for him if he stays in Toronto.
