cuban just might like fucking with you guys is kind of what i was thinking. Now that the Heat have shown their hand they dont have much leverage here. They NEED a team to take some money for them and needing a team to take money on is not a position of strength in the NBA

Dragic is the best player on expiring contract.

my question always was why wouldnt the Mavs just want to sign their own guys with their own cap room?

I dunno, we shall see how it goes. Personally I dont think Dragic on an expiring is a terrible idea

So you gonna ignore the fact you were completely wrong because the warriors not only were willing to pay both Klay and Kd a max they were willing to foot a huge luxury tax with it. They pivoted AFTER KD decided to go to the nets. They had to trade Iggy because of the hard cap in taking back DLo, it’s not because they’re unwilling to pay iguodala. But go head tho, lol.

Might be moves I'm unaware of but if nothing else league is incredibly wide open I think...

West for sure has a number of contenders...... Lakers, Houston, Denver, Portland, Utah would think have legit title aspirations in West. Add LAC if Kawhi goes there and raise LAL if he goes there.

East might be just as wide open, but I think you have to lean Milwaukee (Toronto if Kawhi comes back).

Teams like Boston, Miami and Brooklyn got better but not sure they are contenders. I like Boston if they can find some size. Philly still solid but lost a lot.
