I assuming the Dubs are just taking D'Lo to get back SOMETHING for losing Durant, knowing that D'Lo will be a valuable piece to flip at a later date. You can probably get some better fitting spare parts for him at the deadline or a year from now

Not surprised after his comments lol. This is weird though when Klay comes back DLo would be a 6th man....I guess Klay could play the 3

Can't have a guy on a max deal coming off your bench.

Klay is 6'7. Can play SF for sure.

I really think the warriors should of gotten surrounding parts around the big 3. Essentially you have 2 pg's making big money now

Lakers are now literally in the worst spot I thought they could be in; waiting on a free agent (this case Kawhi) while every other good option is off the board. If we miss, all that's left is over paying C and D tier guys on a 1 year deal and hoping for better pieces next year.

I understand you gotta wait for Kawhi, but this is why you tamper. Seriously, I'm not joking. You do everything you can behind the scenes to convince a guy like Kawhi to sign day 1. Literally every team does this. That's why you saw Kemba's deal leaked fucking 2 days ago, well before they are "legally" allowed to meet.

They must know Kawhi is signing because to not make any moves with all these guys signing doesn't make sense. Even most of the solid role players are gone.

It is literally Kawhi or bust for them

There’s no real downside to this for the Warriors. they were essentially capped out with no way of getting better. They’re taking a risk on DLo but the alternative would be only being able to add talent for the next few years through the MLE and vet mins.

At worst is there is a cohesion problem, they can move someone later. At the very least though Steph, DLo and Dray should help compete for a playoff spot. That’s big for the first year in a new arena.
