Well, if he goes to the Clippers you get nothing. You're forming your roster around Embiid, Simmons and Harris. Miami can at least give you decent role players.

end of the day, it's nice rolling with those three as a base, but I don't know Embiids future health and Butler is a guy that can bring it now. I just worry about the Horford rumors. Fine player and all, but the figures they're quoting for him and how would he fit on the court with Jo and Ben at the same time, still need to find another shooter.

RUDY GAY on a 2 year deal is the best possible result for the SPurs all things considered.
The annual amount is high, but they avoided a bad 4 year deal.
2 years is a gift from above.

This allows them to win 46-52 games and still develop the future.
A longer deal would have clogged up the pipeline and made some decisions on Murray more difficult in 2 years.

I am very bullish about all this young talent. They have restocked the cupboard overnight.
They just need a few vets to carry them for maybe one more year.

It would really depend on what the Sixers could get back in the S&T. We get back Richardson, Winslow and I would do it in a heart beat.

So if Butler gets a sign and trade to HOU or MIA. I would think all signs point to Kawhi to Lakers. He wants to play with another star apparently. If Butler goes to the Clip, Kawhi goes too
