So this David Griffin's 4th No. 1 pick? Granted he wasn't GM for the Cavs for 2 of their No. 1 but still.

In terms of who the Lakers will be picking there isn't much difference between that player and what will be available at 11.
There is a difference though - The Lakers now get to choose BEFORE THE NEXT 7 and take what they want' They don't have to wait and hope that what they want is still waiting. Getting to choose means taking a player that will fit into their future

kinda see that...

wonder if we try to deal up...?

Lmfao

Do not listen to DJ.

There is Zero chance Zion doesn't go first.

ZERO.

Could the Pels deal him if they can get a guy that makes Davis commit?

Sure.

But, they have Holiday.

So, taking JA is retarded.

Not even the Pelicans would be dumb enough to make a trade like that.

But look for LeBron to want to jump ship from LA.

Why?

He got to have an early vacation, the team gets the #4 pick and he's making a fortune in Hollywood.

Or is it because you're butthurt?

I would really love it if the first pick falls with the Pelicans... It will be very interesting to see what they'll ask back to move AD if they get it!

Second that would please me would be the Hawks... It would be very interesting to see how they spend their huge cap space this off season if they can draft Zion next to Trae Young from last season...
Common guys... What do I win?

I love it if Antony Davis and Jrue Holiday decide to stay, now that they got Zion...

Considering that Irving has said he was open to signing with the Lakers and joining LeBron again, that would be silly. If that happens - Lonzo Ball is going to be history any way

Makes no sense getting a PG.

Best option would be Hunter IMO
It would be dumb as hell - Kyrie Irving has hinted at signing with the Lakers and we have LeBron already in that role. Lonzo Ball is going to have to really get good if he don't want to be traded. Id rather see the Lakers get a center

Yes they get to throw a dart at the wall before the other 10 teams behind them in the lottery. If the same player is being mocked at pick #4 and pick #15, there's no consensus next pick. I'd pick Brandon Clarke honestly. Buts he's not even a projected top 10 pick.

As he should because he's no good.
