I would also take Kobe with the game on the line and time running out over LeBron.

Pretty sure LeBron has hit a better % of game winners in the playoffs.

Definitely a lot of Michigan fans. High school was a little rough during the Cooper years.
Funny story. Guy I worked with who was a top HS baseball player grew up with Elvis Grbac. In our office one day and I asked, "so why not OSU?"

He started his reply by saying, "well, Cooper...." I stopped him and said say no more.

I try to forget about those 13 unlukcy years the Buckeyes had with Cooper. All that talent & a pathetic 2-10-1 vs. meeeechegan.
I remember how bad things were back then......Can you believe UM has had it far worse for nearly 20 years now?

Not that I feel bad.

Was able to get a haircut today after 2 months without one. Amazing feeling
I timed this so poorly....was going to get one right before the shut down and decided to do it the following week. I'll be at 3 months in less than 2 weeks.

I was so happy when Cooper was finally fired. But I gotta be honest. I wanted Glen Mason & not Jim Tressel as the next coach. I had my doubt about JT because he never coached on the what's now the FBS level. He sure proved me wrong.

Not upset Tressel was hired but also wanted Mason to be the guy. As for Cooper, I'll admit I wanted OSU to lose that bowl game to South Carolina in hopes it would get Coop fired.

I cannot believe our good fortune, though. I really believe our coaching situation improved after both Tressel left and then Meyer left.

Agreed. Was wondering if you're fimilar with maizeNblue09? He's a super-duper homer. When Day was 1st hired all he did was laugh about it & call him a high school coach. Well now that HS coach has some things Jimmy Jam doesn't. Like a division crown, a conference crown & already has more wins in The Rivaly than the vaunted Mr. Harbaugh. HaHa to all of ann arbor & their goofy fans.

OK...but that was based on no more than a hunch, right? Cannot imagine you saw many Baylor games or any film of Coleman.

No doubt they screwed the pooch though.

The fact he was 5 foot 11 and they had almost no proven commodity at receiver. And the Baylor offense being somewhat hokey.

How many number ones you know are 5 foot 11?

So they let Taylor Gabriel go and Travis Benjamin leave so they could draft another little guy?

Prime Bird? WTF? Dude was out of basketball with a wrecked back when they made Space Jam. The new team wins. Broken Larry and Muggsy ain't getting it done, it's 3 on 5

Yea Mugsey being on that team and Bird being over makes this a blowout.

Cam will not sign as a backup....he will wait for a starter to get injured.

That is what I said in the group....morons defended that other team saying MJ, MJ, MJ....

Revisionist history on MJ is amazing.

He was incredibly great.

And at the same time, perhaps somewhat overrated because of what those Bulls TEAMS did in the 90s.

People think he was an untouchable god.

And besides, impossible to be underrated when you are the GOAT:
