But if what he is saying is true for the 20-21 season then that means the NBA must 1 of 2 things for the 21-22 season.

1) Play a 65 game regular season so we can get back on track of the year ending in late June.

2) Permanently start the season in late December

Tweet said they were shooting for 82 games in 20-21. They'd be dumb to do that imo. Doing that way as the timeline says has the regular season ending in June, which means playoffs would go into July/Aug again, which would also conflict with the Olympics. For 20-21, they need to still start on Christmas but cut the games to 65 like you said. It's the best route to getting things back to "normal" the quickest.

But it wouldn't surprise if both the teams and players would rather go full 82 to get the most money. They'll sacrifice some future offseason dates for that

It won't be 'over' by then but we will be getting back to some kind of normal then. Deaths will be declining, hospitals will no longer be overrun. Outside of NYC most of the country will have it almost completely contained, and even in NYC it will be in retreat and on the way to containment.

Mon-Wed will test how good the cov19 health data site is. Yet to let me down.

Should see a decrease by 200 or so daily deaths by middle of next week.

Today the projected deaths was 772 on their site. Ended up at 777
