No doubt it is rough for SOME, which is why I said as much. But the vast majority we are hearing from who are close to panic to not work in hospitals nor do they have elderly family members in a hospital.Thanks about the well wishes.
But, go spend a hour or two volunteering in a Emergency room with people who don't have the means to get tested, the insurance to cover any hospitalizations or with the Healthcare workers that are tasked with caring for these people, despite the fact that we are risking exposure and let's see if your opinion changes.
Translation : Bring your sideline ass to the frontline before speaking.
Every single patient in my ward is elderly with health complications.
They, and their families, have every right to be heavily concerned.
Buying out the TP, bleach, hand sanitizer is a bit much and a clear overreaction.
Closing schools, cancelling events is not.
