Yeah between the Giants and the Warriors last decade was kind of rough on traffic. But I actually root for the teams causing the problems. You not so much.I am from Boston, i have seen more winning then i know what to do with it. It was so much it use to be a pain coming home from work, with all the constant parades

A fan of who?Im moving back to Boston in 3 months, I did bring my winning ways to CLE tho...Got them a chip well i was here watching as a fan lol
I don't know what it is.It's almost like they're distracted by the Lakers.
I wonder if the whole thing about trying to "win LA" is getting to them?
They've never been in this position before where they are not only competing eye to eye with the Lakers, but would actually be considered the favorites if they met in the playoffs.
They are also constantly reminded that they are 2nd fiddle in LA.
They say all of the right things as far as understanding the history the Lakers have and all...but on some level, it's got to wear on them.
This is also the first time in their careers that Kawhi and PG have had this much pressure on them. With the Spurs, there was always Timmy, Parker and Manu to keep the pressure off of Kawhi and last year, no one saw that run coming.
PG has never really been on a team with these kinds of expectations. Even with the Thunder, which is the closest he's come, most of the pressure was on Westbrook.
Now, for the first time in their careers, the pressure is directly on them.
A fan of who?
Oh, forgot the meaningless lol
he wouldn't abandon the Cavs now in the time of their fan need...
...would he...?
Yeah, let's not get crazy. They can’t lose at home to the Knicks, can they?
At some point, you have to forget about load management and play your guys to build some chemistry. Alternating games where PG or Kawhi sit isn’t going to cut it.
The problem with a 4 is he can't defend wing players? Some can...most can't.Todays NBA needs players who can defend wing players, and that IMO is the biggest problem with Love.
Once you win once you are only chasing the high...Shaqdaddy told me that from her crack days
It's not what I'm saying. Another version of Tatum not a bad thing. I'm asking if a 4 who can offer the rebounding your team lacks and stretch the floor would be more helpful. The way you're posing the question makes it sound like having a lesser version of Tatum on same team as Tatum is a problem or something.
Again, that's funny thinking. You can never have too many good, versatile wings in today's NBA.
I don't necessarily disagree... but the C's don't need a change to win regular season games... they are doing quite well at that already.
The main problems that confront the Celtics are Milwaukee and/or Philadelphia in the post season. And Love doesn't help us guard either of those teams any better.
Yeah, let's not get crazy.
Knicks will find a way to lose...lol.
I agree with you.
Problem being: They aren't currently alternating them.
George was actually gimp.
Pulled a hammy.
Still, if PG and Beverely are the difference between winning or getting dusted by the Memphis Teddy Bears, Clippers are pretenders.
I said a few weeks ago that the Clippers were a disappointment and @msgkings322 cyber-rolled his eyes at me.
They have now lost to 5 sub .500 teams.
That's fucking TRASH.
If they lose today, I'm going postal.
Don't be fooled. They knew they were rebuilding. Hoping your comment was sarcasm. And therein lies the problem.
They did not think they were rebuilding. They did not accurately assess the talent they had on their roster. And even if they were playing to win last year, what was the best case? 35 wins?
That is NBA purgatory right there.
I actually don't and nor do you. But whatever.Oh, they would trade for him for sure.
But they would not be willing to give nearly as much. Again, because the back end of the contract is scary as hell. And in the modern NBA economy teams don’t like commitments like that.
What you don’t get is the “risk” of letting him walk away for nothing is moot. Because right now that is essentially what Love’s trade value is. Nothing.
He will return something of fairly neutral value. Like a bad contract + a pick or future asset of some kind that cancels out the bad contract. Pre extension he would have returned multiple picks and you know this.
noNope.
nobody has forgotten that.
Only a completely incompetent front office fails to trade a star player on an expiring contract when they are nowhere close to winning.
Are the Cavs incompetent?
Denver still might, but who knows? Well, other than some here who think they know.Portland.
Maybe Detroit if the Cavs were willing to eat Blake for a pick.
never did like you.Yep. They don't need them to win rings. 3 of em.
FWIW, the Celtics are currently 12th in the NBA in RPG. Not great, but not terrible either. It's not what I'm saying. Another version of Tatum not a bad thing. I'm asking if a 4 who can offer the rebounding your team lacks and stretch the floor would be more helpful.
His main asset on that end is versatility. He can guard multiple positions and not be a liability.dtg said:Is Heyward a big help on D?
