sure.

I guess the point is that I would rather err on the side of too short a list than too big.

because that word gets tossed around too much and it takes away the meaning when it is overused.
I think "great" gets overused. Elite? definitely by some. I've certainly seen people say top 10 QBs are elite which seems absurd. 5 doesn't seem like too big a stretch.

I don't mind calling some elite, but also recognizing the elite of the elite. In Brees' case, who I think we both agree he has been elite throughout much of his career (and has been as good this year as many others, other than the injury), I wouldn't take that distinction away because one guy can also be a RB at the QB position. And has only had one elite level season.

I know they had the same suspension issues as the Suns.

Still, boy did I get this wrong...lol

They did look pretty good the first 3 games or so.

Then they went back to being the Hawks.

It's not often a team looses a player of Kyrie's talent & doesn't skip a beat. Speaks volumes of that Flat Earthers leadership skill.
Well they replaced him with Kemba so it's not really that much loss of talent

I'm easily seduced by offense.

Question: Do you see Drummond getting traded?

His salary is too large for the Clippers.

Plus, we already sold them a lemon in Blake.

I really want the Clippers to get a rim protector or just another big.

I'm setting my sights much lower, on a guy like Dedmon, perhaps.

No doubt about that. And the other Celtics seem to like Kemba. Can't say that was the case with Kyrie last year.

I feel like the Pistons have to trade either him or Blake, and Blake is a tough sell. They just can’t keep running this group out there for 38 win seasons.

What do you think it would take to land Drummond? Trezl + what? And would the Pistons even want Trezl?

Drummond is tough to value. He is one of the best bigs in the game, hands down. But his skill set is more of a luxury than a need in the modern game. Just don’t have any idea what he will fetch on the trade market.

We don't have a shot at him because of his salary.

Harkless is a expiring 11 mil.

But, we'd have to add Trezl and Zubac...to even start the conversation.

Unless they know they won't pay Trezl, I don't see it for a rental who they'd also need to pay.

There are cheaper options in Tristan, Favors, Dedmon.

The trade I'd like to see the Clippers make is Harkless and whatever for Marcus Morris.

I'd take him over Iggy in a New York minute.

Marcus Morris has turned into a really good role player. He is a good defender, an efficient scorer and most importantly he is tough.

He would be a great acquisition for any contender.

Now watch the Knicks hold him.

Lmao

Perfect timing.

Looks like it's ANARCHY in Kings Landing.

@Bolts deserves better.

Turner, Tristan, Favors, Dedmon in that order.

I would take Tristan over Turner for the Clips.

Just think he is a better fit. You don’t need upside, you need a vet who will embrace his role. Not sure Turner is that guy.
