To be fair, the Heat were without Dragic.

To be fair, the Lakers were without Kuzma as well.

Next man up....

Really good game.

I think it's time to start acknowledging both these teams are really good and to stop using the strength of schedule argument, who is feasting on the weaker conference, excuse for both.

Yeah they are. Lakers were without Kuzma, but I think that, as good as Kuzma is, you guys need those 2 more than the Lakers need Kuz.

I will patiently wait for you or shaqdaddy to find the poster who said anything about the Lakers schedule being easy in December.

If you guys think playing 14 of 19 against teams under .500 (which the Lakers did in November) is all of sudden not an easy schedule then good for you but the rest of us do think it is easy.

Once again, you can have an easy schedule and still be a good team. You guys are acting like just because a few of us stated facts that the Lakers schedule in November was easy that it means we all of sudden think the Lakers aren't a good team

16th rated schedule through November isn't easy. It's middle of the road. If memory serves, the Bucks had the 19th rated schedule, but no one is talking about how easy their schedule has been.

I don’t care much about strength of schedule.

I think we can all agree the Lakers aren’t winning 73 games. But the defense has been extremely impressive. Better than I ever thought possible. They are also getting major contributions from some of the fringe guys we weren’t sure about coming in like KCP.

Lakers might not be better than the Clippers or Bucks, but they are definitely for real.

If they can sustain this, they have an excellent chance at taking down the Clips and Bucks.

Sustainability is a potential issue though. Depending on how seeding plays out they can probably get to the 2nd round just off of Lebron and AD.

But there are definite question marks. Can KCP actually be consistent for the entire season for the first time in his career?

Will Dwight keep the same attitude all season long?

Is The Bald Mamba for real?

If the answers to those questions are yes...they are right there with the Clips and Bucks.

If it's no. Then they are a tier lower.
