And LeBron wasn't the reason he lost any of the finals. He should have been Finals MVP in a losing year in 2015 for example

Look I'm not for sure saying LeBron is better than MJ. But this year he is showing that he can play better than Jordan for sure in his later years, and he can do things Jordan couldn't ever do.

I think they are pretty much equal

I don't even like comparing them. I would put MJ at 1a and Lebron at 1b. Two different players. MJ had the best peak ever, Lebron is showing he has the best durability and longevity ever, could be. They are different players, by the time Lebron retires we could have a two GOAT scenario which sounds stupid but it kinda makes sense also.

Win a title with the Lakers and he becomes the best.

Till then he’s still 3rd or 4th IMO

I mean he has a long way to go to clearly cement where he is in the rankings. If he can win a title on his 3rd title that would be pretty special...tough task at 36 but he is playing like he is 20 something right now.
I think at some point late in the season they need to limit his minutes some to rest up for the playoffs. I really think they are trying to get a big lead and secure the #1 seed then rest up some...tough task.

I mean look at this road trip for LA coming up

@OKC 5-9
@Memphis 5-9
@SA 5-10
@New Orleans 6-9

then back at home for Washington 4-8

That's 5 wins right there you would think. Then you are at 17-2 which is crazy.

I think AD will leave LA LA Land after this season & sign with Milwaukee.

It's amazing these days the top players leading the league in minutes is at about 36-37 minutes per game.

MJ, Lebron and Kobe and players back in the day were playing 40-42 minutes a night early in their career. I guess with more and more athletes coming into the league and the grind they have to go through, injuries seems to be more of an issue and limiting minutes is the smart way to go idk

It's crazy Harden is averaging 38 ppg and only playing 36 minutes a night. Even in MJ's peak he averaged 37 ppg but playing 40 minutes a night.

Yours are interesting points...

... that being said: the pace and scoring of the league is way, way up compared to MJ's heyday... and the officiating favors offense more today... MJ's ability and output is still more impressive, IMO.

Easier to score with current rules though
