Whatever Waiters did had to be pretty bad. You know how many times Whiteside threw shots at the Heat in the media and wasn't suspended?

Once again this is a irrelevant question because Waiters is bitching about not starting. Butler is never going to be coming off the bench. And if the reports are true, that there was some type of altercation then yes every single player would be suspended.

IF Butler was on the bench because the team has 5 starters better than him and he bitched about it, yes he probably would get suspended/fined.

I don't think its necessarily hate. It's just that both Russ and Harden are two of the biggest stat stuffers in the league and one of those guys will take a huge hit.

Westbrook averaged 91.2 touches per game last season, ranked #2
Harden averaged 87.2 ranked #4

Is either of them OK seeing that number drop off considerably?

I'm pretty certain Russ knew when being traded that his numbers will take a hit. You don't get traded to another team where they clearly have their #1 guy and expect your numbers to not take a hit. Russ can still stuff the stats.

All this talk about Russ is kind of hilarious TBH because are we forgetting that before PG had his shoulder issue (which is forcing him to miss the start of this season), Russ took a back seat to PG and handed him the keys essentially? This was on a team that was HIS so I don't see why he won't do that know after being traded to another team where Harden is clearly the man

He had no issues with PG attempting the last second shots last year and missing.

You guys are talking like he is Dion Waiters or Kyrie. This guy is as professional as they come. Even when he played with a trash team, he always had his teammates back no matter what. Never threw people under the bus then the times when he played with another star player, you also never heard anything about him and KD or PG having issues.

But common sense says that when a player that has as many touches as Russ had the last decade joins a team with a guy that also has 90+ touches per game, someone is going to have to give something up.

Hey, it could all work out just fine. Only time will tell.
