Unless they are hanging out with the hotel workers maskless, it will be very hard to pass it to them. These players are going to be tested constantly.

They can’t replace Bradley’s on the ball defense though. He is a hound.

I agree they will be fine. Even better offensively with Waiters and Smith. But that defense was pretty important especially for the Clippers match up, IMO.

I don't see how football can conceivably happen, college or pro. Too many people for a "bubble", the game has as much contact as possible, far too many teams to avoid infection, etc. Even if they start either football season, I doubt they complete it. Major college athletics should just take a year off (sucks for the kids and is a huge money drain on the universities, but they can't even reasonably guarantee safety).

No doubt possible it wont happen but I wouldn't be so sure it cannot. As mentioned earlier (cannot recall if this thread) we have other industries with a lot of people working in close proximity to each other. True, they probably do not tackle each other, but they also are comprised of many workers who are much older than an NFL player (20-35ish). As Stakes pointed out he works at such an industry and they have had few if any issues.

I think the kids have a much better chance to be safe (at least when it comes to severe illness or death as unsafe). The coaches? That could be another story, but they could distance themselves.

Well the Thunder finally signed Lugurntz Dort to a multi year contract. They had been maximizing his two way contract by not having him practice on non game days. Really liked what I saw from him, he is a guy that is not easily pushed around and is a very good defender.
