Warriors got a MLE available for him again. This time around he’ll have a bigger role with KD gone.

There was also some talk earlier when the Lakers cut him that they would be interested in bringing him back during FA. When the got hurt again, both sides knew what was up and Boogie was ok with being cut to clear a roster spot. He was even still allowed to use team facilities to rehab so its not like there's bad blood (at least there wasn't. I'm not aware of any)

Given Boogie's recent history, he'd be better served waiting until the new season in December. There's little point in coming back right now.

Not sure I agree with that.

His value has absolutely crashed and burned.

If he can sign with a team where he would be able to play into a significant role, he could really boost what he is able to sign for in the off season.

Right now he is probably looking MLE level deals.

Yeah, that whole thing seemed amicable and, as you point out, it's not like the Lakers just kicked him to the curb.

I hope they bring him back and he can finally stay healthy.

Agree. Also, I read that teams are worried about running low on players in case of illness or injury since they'll have a short training camp. So the NBA is apparently considering allowing additional roster spots.

If that happens, he could be signed without costing anyone a roster spot.

That's great news.

It's the opposite here.

But, that's what happens when you don't close.

The state recorded 7,023 new cases from June 1-7, nearly doubling the 3,559 new infections reported from May 25-31. The state's highest daily case count to date was recorded on Friday, June 5, with 1,600 new infections.

As of Saturday morning, Banner Health, the state's largest health system, reached its capacity for patients requiring ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), Banner Health reported to the Arizona Surge Line, a statewide phone line that hospitals contact when they're unable to provide the required care for a COVID-19 patient.

Do we know who yet?

40 to 50 is like almost 4 of the 22 rosters.

@tlance hmmmmmm...lol

Sounds like some guys don't want to stay in the bubble.

Not surprising for the younger guys who really have no shoot to make it to the playoffs.

As players have started to come to terms with the restrictive and isolated nature of the Orlando bubble --- including no visitors until after the first round of the playoffs nearly seven weeks after the opening of mid-July training camp -- there's been increased dialogue about the prudence of restarting the season for a number of players, especially those on non-championship contenders, sources said.

That was my exact thought when all this started and some were saying it might not be any worse than the flu. When the hospitals are full they are full, and that is a massive problem.
Another big part of the problem is the time it takes to get test results back.

My location was completely out of rapid result tests so everyone has to take the 2 day test.

Unfortunately, my 2 day test is already on day 8 and they are saying it's going to take 10-12 days.

I'm asymptomatic.

But, do you know how many people I can infect in 10-12 days?

I have enough discipline and resources to isolate.

But, your average person is not going to scratch their asses for 2 weeks when all the bars, restaurants, gyms, malls, casinos and movie theaters are open.

There have already been whispers of a stay at home order part 2.

Shit meets show.

Hang in there girl. I take it you don’t necessarily buy what is being put out there about how asymptomatic people don’t spread it as much as people with symptoms? I’m skeptical.

@bksballer89 .

Did you see that the MLS is also uusing Orlando as a single site for their tournament starting July 8th?

That should be a constant reminder to the NBA guys of how fn good they have it.

I

@thunderc .

This was in response to your post.

Don't know how it ended up quoting bk.

Could be true.

But, " as much " isn't the same as " you can't spread it".

There cant be a maybe I have it for me because of my kid and my job.

it might not kill me. But, I don't want to put others in jeopardy either.
