Holy shit.
Those are the games where guys like Lebron, AD, Kawhi and PG can take a rest.
I didn't realize the Hornets were that... ehm... shorthanded with talent?
If they aren't enamored with Jaylen Brown long term... him plus maybe a Marcus Smart maybe? What could the Celtics offer at this point for Beal? I honestly don't know.
They will... They most probably make it to the playoffs this season.Lakers should have a better season than they have had in years.
Heat will finish top 3 in the East
Did you say "Lakers in 4" or "Lakers are whores"?Lakers in 4 of course

Celtics would probably need a trade to get to that next level...
... Bradley Beal at some point?
A Kemba and Beal back-court would be sexy as heck... of course, Tatum would have to take the next step too.
Kemba and Lowry on the same team... ?They certainly can't pay for Beal, but if they are willing to part with Brown, the can land (expiring) Lowry...
Hayward + Brown + smth for Lowry should suit both teams fine, the Raps only have 29M of guaranteed contracts for next season, therefore would have no objection to "eat" Hayward if they can add Brown next to the VanVleet, Anunoby, Siakam trio...
Because what you're suggesting is retarded, maybe? It's not gonna be for long if it happens... Lowry is expiring! But if they can get rid of Heyward's contract, then why not?

The Celtics aren't in firesale mode... they're not just looking to jettison guys left and right. Your trade basically has Boston kicking Jaylen Brown to the curb just to be better able to kick Hayward to the curb. All to gain an expiring that wouldn't fit so ultimately he would have to get kicked to the curb too.
Crazy talk is all that is.
Beal is an UFA after next season... if he is traded around the deadline, that's only a year and a half of his services guaranteed... it'll be interesting to see what kind of package lands him.Plus the Grizz pick and some other stuff?
Seems unlikely as it would empty the Celtics cupboard and they would still have the same front court.

Anywho... I believe the plan is to play Jayson Tatum as more of a front-court guy...
... Center would still be the weak(est) spot, along with depth... but if you're gonna have a weak spot in today's NBA, it might as well be Center.
