Does anyone have any (possible outlandish) predictions they'd like to make?

As the preseason is about to hit, here is mine:

Bradley Beal will leave the Wizards

Pop retires at the end of the season

David Fizdale or Luke Walton will be the first coach fired of the season. Neither makes it by the end of the season.

Zion does not win Rookie of the Year

Lakers win the title.

Anthony Davis wins DPOY

Neither the Sixers or Bucks make the NBA Finals

I like your list.

Hmmmm, I will go with the Kings and Pelicans will fight it out for the 8th seed out West.

Ja Morant takes the ROY.

Dame Lillard for MVP.

The Dubs are being vastly underrated and will make it to the WCF.

When is the last time a coach was fired mid season and that team won the title?

Nobody in their right mind would take that. It's a two team race imo.

I mean the Celtics could surprise.
If Kyrie can hold down the fort and KD somehow return that gives the Nets a chance.
Other than that, I don't give any other team much of a chance other than the Bucks or Sixers.

Celtics would probably need a trade to get to that next level...

... Bradley Beal at some point?

A Kemba and Beal back-court would be sexy as heck... of course, Tatum would have to take the next step too.

Mike D'Antoni is fired after the season.

Lakers end up outside the top 3 in seeding.

Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings both make the playoffs

Portland Trailblazers win the Ship.

Charlotte Hornets win less than 20 games.

Yeah they would have to surprise, that would include Tatum taking his game to the next level and the same Kemba we saw on the Hornets. That 1-2 would be sick of those two things happened. Also, Hayward needs to get back to his Utah days form for a nice 3rd option.

What could the Celtics offer at this point for Beal? I honestly don't know.
