They need to start opening shit back up. My hunch was more than correct, national death toll rate is coming down daily. Its a freaking Flu strain blown out of proportion by our shifty MSM. NHL should start their playoffs starting first week in May IMO. Shit will definitely be tapered off by then, but hey what do I know.

Dude, where do you get your information. Yesterday was the highest death toll yet. Unreal...

IHME | COVID-19 Projections

Same source that originally predicted 250K now saying 60K deaths nationwide through Aug 24th

Another fun fact. All deaths where COVID-19 has been confirmed OR SUSPECTED is being coded (ICD CODE) as a C-19 death per CDC Mandate regardless of ANY underlying conditions.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/...w-ICD-code-introduced-for-COVID-19-deaths.pdf

QUOTE FROM THE DOCUMENT
"What happens if the terms reported on the death certificate indicate uncertainty? If the death certificate reports terms such as “probable COVID-19” or “likely COVID-19,” these terms would be assigned the new ICD code. It Is not likely that NCHS will follow up on these cases.

One of my favorite singers John Prine, died today. Starting in the mid-'90s, Prine also dealt with several serious health issues. He had a cancerous tumor in his neck removed in 1996, successfully beat lung cancer in 2013 and had a heart stent implanted in 2019 due to an elevated risk of stroke.

The point I'm making is the nation is taking extreme measures in order to stop the spread. Measures that are not taken with the flu and we are still seeing these numbers rise daily. All reports have indicated this week and next week will be the most devastating in terms of numbers yet.

All I'm reiterating is that this is not just another flu. These precautions need to be adhered too and any hope of things getting back to "normal" before June is foolish in my opinion. I'm married to a Dr. at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She is scared of this thing and the lack of respect people are giving to it which will only prolong the "shutdown".

It is a far more contagious flu... don't think anyone is disputing that. BUT... the MSM and Deep State bureaucracy seems eager to take down our economy and economic system for what ? To implement "Bernie's World" ? I always say "follow the money". Big pharma doesn't want a hydroxychloroquine + zinc solution. Too cheap. They want a full blown government mandated vaccine, or ultra expensive biologic (at thousands a dose) to be the only acceptable answer.

Saw another article talking about "Herd Immunity"... 80% of the population needs to be exposed in order for this to go the way of other flu strains. This line of thinking is to isolate the vulnerable - seriously isolate all the older / and or immune compromised people, and let the other 80% take their chances...

Yes, people are following guidelines and projections are lowering. 60,000 deaths is still an astounding number.

As for sports getting back on track, that’s still going to be months. Let me repeat...MONTHS. Say they open things up in June, optimistic, in my mind and 1 person tests positive for Covid 19 then their team and every team they played for 2 weeks would need to be quarantined. That would shut down any league. Just think about that for a second and let it sink in. I’m just being realistic here. No conspiracy theories. Come on...

You know the funny thing is if we took all viruses this serious death tolls would drop dramatically. Unfortunately our economical system isn't set up that way. I have another hunch Trump will have almost this whole country back up and running by the end of April. There is only so much hiding that can be done. As far as sports, if they go full panic mode and cancel guess just gotta roll with it. Would suck though.

Where's all the lazy hockey fans at today lol. It's amazing during a so called stay at home thingy, I've seen so many freaking people out just walking, biking, jogging and my all time favorite, filling up the campsites lol. I would predict most people are seeing this as a paid vacation, pretty crazy shit.
