Hart looked pretty good last night. I was scared the B's were gonna light him up.

Also what about holding the Bruins tomlike 10 shots through 2 periods on their ice. I hope that becomes a trend. Also Myers is freaking tearing it up!

Lol all this aside, my original comment was just that, last year we didn't show up until half way through games and this year it seems a little reversed. That could be because I've noticed in the third that lesser defensive players are getting less minutes to.

That I can agree with :)

Hart was a monster last night especially in the third OT and shootout!!!!!

Agreed. 2 points on the back of Hart last night. Flyers played well in the 1st and 2nd (according to twitter and radio, couldn't watch these) and rode Hart the rest of the way (watched that).

How about the goal that was disallowed last night it was an atrocious play by Braun. If you can find a video of it please post it.

He is looking like he is developing into a top pairing dman.
If i had to say who is our top pair right now i think Myers/Sanheim have pulled into a tie with Prov/Nisky. Id have to flip a coin right now.

I'd give it to Myers/Sanhiem, just because every now and then Provy still has some rookie headscratchers.

The subtle brilliance of how the Flyers have played this year

I dont need analytics to know all of these items are correct. They left out one thing that has also been helping us and that is controlling the neutral zone. We haven't done it on a consistent basis but this weekend we did and controlled most of both games.

Don't know if this is a statistic that is kept... but my eye test is seeing far more quick passes that actually connect with another flyer (completed pass) vs. the opponent (and puck in our net "pick 6") or simply an incomplete pass altogether. This has to be people actually playing the system, and knowing where the other guys SHOULD be on the ice in any given situation. The active stick play is phenomenally different than previous years.

Was a very encouraging romp through the top 3 teams in the Atlantic Division

This is 100% correct. I believe we have better passers than ever before and better pass catchers as well. Besides the system which you are correct about i think that we have a players on the 4th line that would've been higher up in the line up in years past.
