I mean Denver is a top team so I have no issue with them playing. The Pelicans is my issue in that game. IMO that should have been Portland or Utah facing Denver.
And I'm disappointed in Boston/Toronto but I get why Toronto is there. Same type of philosophy as the NFL where the champ usually host the first Thursday game. In the NBA, the champ plays opening night and usually on Christmas as well. I would have preferred to see Kawhi in Toronto on Christmas and Lakers/Rockets on Christmas

The Nuggets may be a top team, but Christmas games are aimed towards big market teams. Pretty much the reason both the Knicks and Lakers have pretty much consistently played over the last few years despite being horse shit. NBA champs are pretty much always in too no matter what.
A top player playing against his former team is also a huge deal.
