Oklahoma is undefeated at home and the world series is in OKC. They also went through the conference regular season and Big 12 Championship without a single loss. OU has the pitching once again to get it done. I think the Sooners 3 peat.

I wish somebody would teach baseball and softball players
how to play first base.

Nobody does it correctly anymore. They dash to the bag and assume
a stretch position before the ball is thrown.

Thus when the ball is off line...they must come off the bag to go
get it or their stretch is reduced one way or the other.

It's really quite simple to teach. Get parallel to the bag, 2 feet off the
bag and face the infield. If the ball is tailing to your left...kick back
with your right foot and stretch sideways with your left. The opposite
if the ball is tailing to your right.

A 6-run inning would have been preventd by having a double play
with the first two hitters, instead of an errant throw/stretch setting
the table for a big inning

Florida fans might be blaming the ump in that one and can't say they are entirely wrong. Was weird as fuck when their head coach comes out to argue after their own pitcher just struck out a batter, but that was a weird strike zone down the stretch. That called strike out by their lead off hitter in the 7th was so far outside.

Natty Patty needs to get these girls focused for ASU at 11am local time. OU hasn't lost back to back games since I don't know when. Sooners beat the sun devils 7-2 earlier this year but it's a long road from the consolation bracket.

Yeah that was definitely a strange sequence. The SEC has gotten their fair share of the benefit of the doubt calls over the years though.

Don’t really like how Oklahoma leans into pitches to try to get on base and then the ESPN announcer is bragging about how many times they get hit like it’s some sort of taught skill.
