Apparently, yesterday wasn't the last day, or so I've read. The good news is that Foster has gone a full month without doing something stupid...so it's a start.

Carlos Hyde looks to be a Brown....Jerick McKinnon will be a Niner. I think he fits Shanahan's scheme - good out of the backfield receiving.

Yep. Browns, Cards, and Bills are a lock to draft a QB. The Giants would be crazy not to draft a QB.

Not sure on the Jets. They signed both McCown and Bridgewater to 1 year deals. That really looks like they'll go QB in the draft too. Like you said--very good news for the Niners.

It doesn't look like we'll be getting any comps. We've signed more FAs than we've lost and we didn't have much in the way of mid/high-quality FAs to lose anyway. We might get a late-rounder if we sign no more qualifying FAs and both Carradine and Reid sign decent contracts somewhere else.

Yep, Sherman doesn't count and any player we trade for doesn't count, which is why there are rumors out there that the Niners are sniffing around trade ideas aimed at the eagles LB kenricks.

And Hyde is the only one we've lost. I.e., as of now, we're getting zero comps b/c we've signed more players than we lost. Until we start losing more players of our own, it's less and less likely we get any comps b/c we're almost certain to sign another FA.

Read comments on another site and there is nothing put positive comments from Minnesota fans about McKinnon. They hate seeing him go. They all thought he would be a great fit in SF and will do well as long as he isn't expected to carry the load as a full time back
