By "DB" you mean Safety, cause Denzel Ward is very good, but not a scheme fit? So do we really want another Safety?

If a Safety is that good fine, but IF value is equal, i'd go elsewhere (LB?).

7. *Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

Fitzpatrick (6-foot, 204 pounds) has played corner and safety at Alabama, and he could play either position at the next level. The versatility is a huge plus. Fitzpatrick is really a defensive coordinator's dream: a modern-day big corner who plays safety. He's versatile enough to line up in the slot and lock down receivers, but he also can be a center fielder. Fitzpatrick had nine career interceptions (including four that were returned for touchdowns), so he has elite ball skills. He isn't afraid to make a tackle, either, which is why I think he'll be a top-five pick in April.

Reid is still a FA. We might be able to bring him back on the cheap. He'd be a fine backup.

Didn't Carradine play the spot Soloman Thomas is in now? I would think Armstead can also play "Big End" at a high level? While we did read Carradine was good setting the edge, he is already replaced.

Same with Reid, he is already replaced by Tartt, Colbert, and Ward. Not to mention we'll likely be in position to draft Fitzpatrick or James?

he'll end up being a solid back-up, but you know how it is, teams do need depth.

can't see another team giving up much in a trade? So we're better off keeping him.
