Get Norwell, Wr Robinson, draft corner or backer!:)

Yep, they will still draft a corner and i'll even say two CB's. They'll also draft a linebacker, not necessarily 'high' but we should draft one.

I highly doubt they would get both Robinson and Norwell, although both have been mentioned. Norwell was originally considered a lock for NYG.

I'd be happy with either....then just try and crush the draft with defense.

If not both, i'll take Norwell over Robinson.

Agree if possible (ie 'equal value'), use the higher picks on defense, meaning Rounds 1 and 2. We have enough offense but if we expect to contend for the play-offs, we need more D.

Ahhh, this also means the Bears aren't drafting a WR before us.

I doubt they would have taken one art 8 anyway. The bigger impact on the 49ers draft will be where the QB's sign in free agency.

No Norwell either. Jax grabs him.

Too bad but it is what it is.

Don't know the details to the Robinson deal, but Norwell's was I believe an extra $million per year over the Cleveland guard who set the record for the position last year. I knew they'd be breaking the bank, so I can see why they left them to Chicago and Jacksonville.

I think Lynch stated they won't make any big pickups in FA, so I expect them to get some tier 2 type players.

3 years/42M for Robinson. 30M guaranteed to Watkins. Norwell destroys the guard contract record. Yeah...it'd be nice to get some of these guys, but the contracts are out there.

I'm ok with getting one of the better guards left in free agency. I imagine they will draft a WR if they don't sign any that could make an impact.

Weston Richburg former Giants Center is signing a five year deal. I don't know if it's much of a upgrade but more depth for sure.

Big upgrade at center. PFF rated as a top 5 center. I would move Kilgore to guard

Basically what I heard was one of them would likely play Center the other one of the Guard spots.

I had no idea Richburg was a FA. This is a great pickup....fits the scheme and he's pretty nasty.

Richburg was a couple of years ago ranked the top center in the NFL. Last year he suffered a concussion and was dealing with several injuries. He was ranked as average. I think he needs to stay at Center. Kilgore ranked better with Jimmy G at QB because of Jimmy's quick release but Kilgore was often overmatched at center. I think he would be better at guard

Giants' Weston Richburg the top center in the NFL, according to PFF

It's a good signing I would like to see them add two more interior OL between Free Agency and Draft.

He should definitely play center. I disagree in that Kilgore should be a guard....if he was getting overmatched at C, I can only imaging him getting rolled into the dirt routinely at G. As I believe I said in his extension thread, he provides solid backup, but with this signing, I think Kilgore's days are numbered.

He could take Beadles roster spot as a swing C/G. He definitely can't be any worse than Beadles was last year
