I mean- what i was kind of thinkin is that anyone in the top 10 to start the season you have to at least think is a team taht has SOME kind of hopes to make it----

and while if Miami/Wash run the table they prob will- those teams are behind the 8 ball now.

I mean- Miami- if it beats Clemson and wins the ACC- they are going unless they have a 3rd loss. In that way- its not really changed a WHOLE lot for them I guess--- but for Washington- if there are similarly situated Big Ten or Big 12 teams- they have already kind of really hurt their chances.

The Huskies would have to run the table & need some help to get in. And they have to hope that a ranked Oregon & Stanford are still in the top 25 when they play them. But their upcoming game against FCS N. Dakota can't help their SoS.

the trojans are not bad--- they might end up being the best in the Pac 12- for whatever that is worth--- but i highly highly doubt they make the CFP.

Yeah, I tend to agree with this. We have a lot of talent, but we are inexperienced in the wrong spots and I'm not sold on the o-line being good enough.

I was a little impressed with the defense.

I thought JT Daniels looked like a very talented true freshman who should actually still be a senior in high school (which is exactly what he is).

I thought the o-line was okay, but didn't dominate a lesser talented opponent like I thought they should.

The receivers dropped a few passes as well. Amon-Ra St. Brown (another true freshman) was actually the most impressive of the receivers. Probably timing issues with the other guys, (he and Amon-Ra have been playing together since 8th grade).

It's expected for the offense to be behind the defense this early in the season, but they are going to have to make up some serious ground, the o-line is going to have to be a whole lot better and Daniels is going to have to play above his experience level if they are going to win the PAC, let alone actually contend for the playoff.

I don't know about this one. Obviously, a lot will depend on what happens with LSU and Auburn going forward. But right now, Miami's loss looks a good bit worse than Washington's.

Washington lost a close game to another top 10 team, while Miami was a top 10 team that got dominated by the #25 ranked team.

what i am saying is that if Miami wins the ACC and beats Clemson they are pretty much in regardless.

No one in the Pac 12 offers a possible win anything close to Clemson.

Thats a LONG way to go for Miami- but i think if Washington even wins out and wins the pac 12 they might still not even make it.

You do realize that USC & N.D. play @ the end of the year don't you? If both teams have good records that game could be huge.

Ohio State has nothing to do w/ those losses wiggy mentioned. Not sure why you even mentioned them. But since you went outta your way to take a shot @ the Buckeyes I'll just say this. UCLA played a cupcake (Cincy) & lost.

In case you didn't know....

Ohio State and UCLA shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence....but something tells me you already knew that.

Who was the 1 that brought up Ohio State when they weren't even mentioned?

Wiggy brought up 2 teams that faced really good SEC teams. Those in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.

And you brought up UCLA earlier in case you forgot.

I only brought up UCLA because you mentioned that Ohio State played a cupcake (#7610). How short is your memory?

Lay off weed, WAMU....too young to be getting the old timers disease.

I don't believe I was talking to you when I made that comment was I? And when I mentioned UCLA the 2nd time it was a direct response to you mentioning Ohio State playing a cream puff. Try & keep up next time.

Drink another one DJ. Maybe it will make you smarter.

Translation: I'm all butthurt.

Doesn't matter if it was directed at me.....talking shit is talking shit. People can still read it because it's there.

And it doesn't change the fact the 2 teams Wiggy mentioned played good SEC teams.

Ohio State didn't.

Stay triggered if you want but those are the facts.
