Many teams still have traditional highly paid centers.
Give it up already.

And, as far as carrying on about his character issues, same thing applies.

You guaranteed he’d meltdown over 2 years ago now.
Hes probably had 3 or less T’s since then that were nothing more then minor, nightly NBA occurances.
oh yah? how many good ones?

not many- and chances are if they are highly paid they can either shoot or pass or dont cry about their role.

Gobert is the only "traditional" center that I believe is a truly great player in the league today- and hes a perennial top 5 defender in the league- makes 22 a year.

DeAndre Jordan is okay- but he was hte Clippers third guy- certianly not a guy you feature if you hope to be anything more than mediocre at BEST.

after those 2 you have guys like Whiteside and Valunciunas and Drummond and --- make no mistake- its a severely dying breed. I think Whiteside makes more than ANY of them too.

id 10 times rather have Steven Adams who can switch the pick and roll, play some nasty D, plays hard, keeps his mouth shut and doesnt whine.

Still no legit source.

In other news, rumors from a legit source

Report: Rockets could have interest in James Johnson, Tyler Johnson
Anderson seems pretty duplicative of Olnyk- except more expensive and worse defense.

I dont think much of Johnson or Johnson on the Heat- but at least they are cheaper than Anderson- and doesnt Andersons contract go both this year and next? its not like they would save a year.

These are just all strange rumors that dont really make a whole lot of sense ot me.

I agree. I think there is a 5% chance of anything happening with Miami before the season

Both Johnsons can play.
Anderson is garbage.
Like you said, Anderson has 2 years left.
If he had 1, then at least you could see why the Heat might have interest.
As is, the ‘proposed’ swap makes no sense.

So now instead of he’s going to meltdown, hes a whiner?
Get a life.
Like he’s the only one ever who after a game answered a question without giving a politically correct answer.

Lets keep ignoring that he was injured most of last season.

LOL, are you REALLY trying to say hes not a whiner? Is that REALLY an argument you are trying to make?

WTF did you just watch towards the end of the regular season and the playoffs? I am incredulous that you could even possibly SUGGEST the idea that he is not a petulant whiner.

LeBron basically threw games in order to force the Cavs trades last year.
Where was your outrage?

Whiteside answered questions in the wrong way.
Hes made mistakes before but always learned from them.
Im sure he’ll have a more understood , defined role assuming he’s hopefully still here.
The Heat has options at his position.
It is what it is.

Players want to play.
Stats equate to dollars.

Not a single thing been reported by a single legit source. I would ignore it until further notice

Hopefully, but maybe Wade wants Waiters gone.

Clarkson play the same position. Wouldn't make any sense.

That whole trade is dumb.

Also it is a major red flag when I don't see a single tweet/article from any legit source who covers the Heat, Cavs, or the NBA general on these rumors.

Seems more like a fan made up these trades and posted it on one of those rumor websites for the teams

Clarkson is a combo guard. If he didn't always look for his shot first, he could play the point.

Miami doesn't need a PG or SG. They have a shit load of players that can play both PG and SG which is why these trades make no sense

I am hoping it isnt true. Waiters is a locker room killer and Whiteside has lack of effort issues. Seems like a disaster double whammy
