LeBron to LA really feels likel it's gaining steam.

I've been leaning towards CLE as my best guess, starting to lean LA.

NBC Sports California has confirmed that Sacramento is interested in Parker, but the money has to be right. It will be a balancing act between trying to woo a player, paying enough so the Bucks don’t match and keeping the team’s salary flexibility long-term. The Bucks added scorers last season and they might be ready for life after Parker. The injuries setbacks have taken him from cornerstone to question mark, but they’ll likely match up to a certain dollar amount.

I'm not sure how to feel about this.

I guess you could play he and Bagley together.

But, neither is a small forward.

I'm a Parker fan.

But, those knees.....

I wouldn't pay that. As an RFA, they only have to match someone else's offer. He's not going to get the max unless it's a matching situation.
He's going to get the max.

All it takes is one bottom feeder with capspace.

Atlanta, Brooklyn, Phoenix, Dallas, Kings....can all have max space.

He and Jokic are the only guys I'm positive about.

Does he deserve it?

I say no.

But, he will get it all the same.

Great talent, but horrible track record with injuries. Huge risk, but definite huge upside too.

Interesting.

"Not a done deal" could simply mean that they are holding off until Lebron actually announces so that there are no "spoilers."

It could also mean that he truly hasn't decided yet, but knows where Lebron Jr. will go if he decides on the Lakers.

Or as they said on a talk show I was listening to yesterday..he could technically enroll Lebron Jr. in a school in every city he's been rumored to be going to if he wants to troll everyone. lol

Because it isn't max worthy.

But, players aren't exactly beating down the Magic's doors.

So, they can't let him walk for nothing.

If they don't match or workout a sign and trade beforehand, that would be a epic failure.

They reached and drafted him #4 and then traded the draft rights of Saric a 1st and 2nd rounder to the 76ers for Elfrid the Bricklayer Payton.

Payton is already gone for virtually nothing.

They can't let both 2014 picks, plus a additional first walk for nothing.

Make that 4 first rounders because Hezonja is walking too.

Gordon is getting the max.

IMO, this is how a team's descent into cap hell begins. At least other teams can only offer 4/100, so they don't have to go 5/148.

I don't know what happens, nor do I pay too much attention to the reports....but boy am I enjoying seeing Lebron fans Melt Down on social media, at the fact that he MAY go to the Lakers. I don't have a prediction on it, but this has been at the least, very funny/entertaining

Agree they don't HAVE to.

But, small market teams have gotten themselves in trouble using that tactic before.

* see Kevin Love in Minny

Orlando is a team that has to develop their own talent or overpay for 2nd tier guys.

Orlando will regret giving him anything close to this

Maybe....

I mean, he's about as good as Harrison Barnes who got 4/94.

Barnes put up 19 and 6.

Gordon put up 18 and 8.

Both put those numbers up playing on bad teams

Gordon has a higher ceiling. But, he's less likely to ever reach it.

He's only 22 though.....Barnes at 26 is Damn near a finished project and Gordon can still get better.
