Especially when said Kar-trashian went from Jordan Clarkson, to Blake, to Ben Simmons over the course of a year.

Are the Jenner girls as trainwrecky as the Kardashians? I know nothing about any of them.

Lakers are likely gonna have trade rumors (real or fake) swirling around them all season long.

Love had constant trade rumors and yet he's the only one still there in CLE.
your avi cracks me up - still trying to get used to you being a Laker fan.

Why are we still discussing this? If the Lakers need the cap space next summer to sign Kawhi (or Klay, or whomever), they just stretch Deng. Neither is eligible for the supermax.
lol @ people that think Klay is leaving his CHAMPIONSHIP team to play somewhere else. That man jus won back2back championships & is poised to 3peat.

I saw Kobe asking why the fuck they drafted Ball over Tatum.....lol.

Now THAT would be a scary guy to have developing along side the King.....instead you have a poor-mans Ricky Rubio and a poor man's DeMar DeRozan and a poor man's Thad Young (Ball, Ingram, Kuzma respectively). I might be a dick, but tell me I am wrong @Mecca
I think you are way off with Kuzma. That kid is going to be a star.

@ChiefsLakers67

You should really check out LeBron's interview with Rachel Nichols if you haven't already.

Pretty awesome stuff.
The I Promise school is going to be such an extraordinary resource for those young kids. The fact that he guarantees to pay the 1st year of college for those that complete the course is touching on so many levels. This is outstanding. Seriously. I mean, goodness. What a vision & an awesome team he must have to put this all together in conjunction with a PUBLIC school. AMAZING.

nah...I have it on good authority Tristan knocked Draymond out and pissed on him while he was on the ground. Source is rock-solid.
Would that be the same authority that told you LBJ was resigning in Cleveland this summer?

Well, they all have a lot of mileage.

The one Ben is dating has already dated 3 NBA Players, Justin Bieber, a Jonas brother, 2 rappers and a Dude from One Direction.

She just turned 22.

May not seem like a lot of Dudes. But, when you factor in how many bedmates those guys have had?

He'll have to actually do it before I can believe it.

Folks can change the way they do things. Especially as they get older. No one, myself included, thought he'd come to the Lakers by himself. Yet he did exactly that.

Maybe he'll play the same way he always has...or maybe he's ready to relieve some of the burden he normally carries because he's 33 years old and wants to prolong his career/play at a high level for as long as possible?

My guess is that he will spend some time letting his teammates carry more of the burden. If it seems to be working, he'll stick with it. But if it seems to not be working, or if they reach a point where it looks like they may be in danger of missing the playoffs...he'll take over.

And most of that money's going to the baby mama.

Blake needs a new lawyer to get those payments down.
Yeah, they gave her 9 % of his pay.

For a regular person, not that big a thing.

But, when you make 31 million a year, that Shit adds up...lol

His biggest issue will be life after basketball.

270 k a month is nothing right now.

But, Blake won't be getting anywhere near that much on his next deal....

Hell, as injury prone as he is, there might not be a next contract.

In 5 years, when this deal is up, his kids will still be in elementary school.

So, He will still have another decade of child support.

Who doesn’t need 9k/day to feed 2 kids?

I include Klay as a potential option, but not a good one really. I did also say whomever, as we don't really know who will shake loose and be available via trades, etc.

It could just come down to a numbers game. If Durant stays, there will be decisions to be made in terms of keeping Klay next summer and Dray the following summer with max deals. The Warriors can't continue to max out every free agent as they come along. Dray already said he wasn't taking a discount. Will Klay? Will it be enough to make much of a difference? Once those luxury repeater fines start, they escalate QUICKLY.

That said, I think Durant moves on to start his own super team somewhere, so that would open up luxury tax space to retain Klay. Of course, they could decide to save that for Dray instead.
