Offensively only.

B. Lopez is really overrated. But he an shoot at least. Bucks need that.

Agree. I liked his offense ok. But he was fairly useless on defense and wasn't much of a rebounder, especially for his size.

He's basically one of those old school, slow centers that are no longer really viable in the NBA. The only real difference was that he can shoot the 3 a bit.

Yeah, I think a lot of that was timing/chemistry with Russ. Carmelo Anthony can still make shots. I would feel comfortable betting on that. With a better playmaker like LeBron feeding him, he would do just fine.

I wouldn't mind him if he comes off of that "I'm not coming off the bench" crap.

I agree that most of his problem last year was likely timing/chemistry with Westbrook.

I wouldn't even mind starting him just as an acknowledgement of who he was. But I wouldn't want him playing starters minutes.

My main concern would be what happens when he decides he's not getting enough minutes/shots/4th quarter playing time?

Hopefully, having to reach a buyout agreement with OKC and sign with another team for less will humble him a bit. Because if he can accept a reduced role, he actually could provide some of the perimeter shooting the Lakers are going to need.

One day you're 25,
Staying up till 4am
Eating pizza and dancing
Like nobody was ever watching

Suddenly you're 50 (47 in November)
Eating Kale and going to bed at 9pm
You can't dance because you pulled
a muscle putting on your socks

4am? Hell, when I was 25, I'd just go straight from the party to work. lol

Now...8:30 rolls around and I'm headed to bed. Sometimes I stay up until 9:30 if a ball game is running late.

Not eating Kale though.

Ain't that the truth. I'll be 46 later this month. Although w/ degenerative discs & sciatic nerve damage some days I fell much older.

I was 35 and coaching high school basketball. I start complaining one day about being old.

The other coach, who was older than me, says "How old are you coach?" I said "35."

He says..."Wait 'til you hit 40, the wheels come off". lol

I get it in my smoothie when I go to Jamba Juice.

I would be just find if it wasn't for my back issues. Been dealing w/ this stuff now for 15 years.

Back issues suck. I have a friend whose back locks up on him so bad that sometimes he can't get out of bed for 2-3 days. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason as to when or why either.

Some years ago I had to switch doctors twice because I wanted some physical therapy instead of a surgery option. The 1st two doctor's I saw just wanted to pump me full of those dangerously high powered pain pills & "work through the pain". To hell w/ that shit & the doctors that take big-pharma kickbacks are crooked.

Hit 50 last month. Still go to be at midnight though.

I'm 48, can't even think of going to sleep before midnight (often closer to 2AM), alarm at 6AM to leave for work by 7. Kale? Never touched it (of course, I am still single too, lol). I have to get back in shape though; my lower back and knees are screaming at me.

Yeah once you have discs and sciatic nerve damage, you feel much older than you age. Been there, done that.
