I said from the moment your Lakers let The Swapster get away it would hurt the franchise for years. And not LeBron or anyone else will be able to turn the team around in a quick enough fashion. If I was Jack Nicholson I wouldn't pay those crazy prices for that court side seat. What a waste of money.

I know this comment wasn't directed @ me but if I can be the person that determines how much credit Magic should get I'll say as little as possible. But anything that goes wrong I will put 100% of the blame on his shoulders.

Since you have appointed yourself the sole determiner of how much credit Magic deserves...perhaps you can let the rest of us know so that we don't accidentally give him too much and upset you again?

Maybe as a percentage? 25%? 50%? 75%?

While I agree with you that Magic and Polinka didn't pull off a magic trick with Lebron I do think they deserve some credit for helping with the allure. You can't just assume that Lebron would have come to the Lakers no matter what.

I wanted Donovan to win because he's one of my favorite players.

But, Ben had a better regular Season and better all around numbers.

Practicing with, getting
Personal training, nutritional help from NBA level professionals is a clear advantage over some kid who maybe played in a lower mid major.

But, I'm sure teams like Duke, Carolina etc....have facilities and staffs that rival those on the pro levels.

So, what's the difference really?
