Do you think his frame is really capable of manning up enough to play the 4? He makes KD look like The Rock.
I think throwing him out there might make him get in the gym. Clearly 3 years in & nothing else has worked. lol

Yep, didn't catch it in time. Shame that had to take away from you thinking Melo was their 3rd best player. Oh well. You got me grammar police.

If you're going to insult someone's intelligence, make sure you spell simple words right.

I can see it was a simple mistake to make. The timing was just too perfect though.

Gun to your head, Lakers win total as currently constructed?

A lot depends on how many games Lebron plays. I don't see him playing all 82 again this year. It will also depend on how the kids respond to the pressure that's going to be put on them.

Assuming Lebron plays in 70ish games, I'm going with 46-50. I think they'll win more in the 2nd half of the season than the first.

They'll be better than what the Cavs were last year, but they play in the West, so it'll be harder to reach the same win total as the Cavs had.

Tony Parker to the Hornets.

With Duncan already retired, that just leaves Ginobli.

Makes me wonder two things.

1. Will they retire Ginobli's number.

2. How many times will he flop during the ceremony?

No.

He's not as long, nor as skilled, as other bean poles like Durant or Garnett....especially on defense.

If they didn't massively overpay for KCP, I would play Ingram at the 2.

JaVale is best in small doses - but he's so dang good in the short period it's almost fools gold to think he'd be good as a starter. Now, in the case when he was with GS there wasn't a better C IMO.

Agree. It's about pulling him out of the game just before he does something to end up on Shaqtin' A Fool.

The real wildcard here is how well and how quickly the Lakers are able to gel as a team. As I said upthread I think it is entirely possible that the Lakers will have a losing record at the half way mark.

I don't follow...LBJ played the last 4 years in Cle & hadn't missed any significant time.

Going to have to excuse the sources. They don't seem to be the greatest but they do all have one thing in common: The result

Cavs without Lebron since he came back to Cleveland in 2014: 4-18. A winning percentage of .182

One stat that shows how terrible the Cavs are without LeBron James

This one has them at 4-19

Cavaliers' record without LeBron takes another hit with loss to Bulls

Can't argue with a single thing you just said.

* pauses in deep contemplation*

You really disappoint me sometimes...lol

I said chemistry would be a factor too.

I remember those stats, but that's not entirely fair because he only missed a handful of games. So the sample size is questionable IMO.

Now if Bron had Nance & Clarkson in LA in Luke's system there might be much better results than what they came up with in Cle.

If we're comparing OKC's starting lineup to LA's...just guessing on the lineups, on our side as well as Okc's with Melo out?
RW > ZO
Roberson < Ingram
PG < LeBron
Who is OKC's starting PF?- Kuzma

As for the Center, I don't think it'll be Mcgee, and I'm thinking they'll bring Lopez back
IF it's Lopez, from an overall perspective Lopez is no pushover, but looking at it fairly
Adams < Lopez on Offense
Adams > Lopez on Defense
