Terribly sorry for accidentally writing top instead of big in my original post.

Kinda assumed you would get the context but it seems I need to spell things out a little clearer for the slower posters amongst us.

lmao. Dig that hole deeper dumbass.

Better than the Lakers?

They are better at every position except the one LeBron plays.
And they still were a first round out - which is why I think they need a better coach. I think Roberson being out made a slight difference on defense. But, I don't think they get over the hump without another piece. Another scoring piece.

Sure.

He made a hell of a difference, statistically, against the Warriors in a 4 game sweep.

Go back and look at how badly his team's got slaughtered against the Rockets at the end of the year.

LeBron alone is enough to get by in the East.

Not in the West.

Westbrook is better than Ball, Rondo combined.

Adams over Mcgee doesn't even require an explanation.

LeBron is a Megastar to Paul George's All-star.

Roberson and Caldwell-Pope would be a wash if Roberson was at least respectable at the charity stripe, he isn't.

So, Pope by a hair.

I'm sorta confused as to what your lineup is going to look like.

Is Ingram starting at the 4?

Is LeBron?

If Ingram matches up with George, Paul wins that one hands down.

I don't know the lineup yet. Heck even Luke probably doesn't.

I see a lot more changes coming.

How many wins would you predict for this team as currently is?

I agree. But this is in regard to the Cavs without LeBron being a better team than last year's Lakers.

If anything the Cavs still having a terrible record without LeBron despite playing in the east hurts that argument even more.
But it's hard to say for certain since they did have LBJ last year. We don't know what their record would've been - but we do know what the Laker's record was. And, we know that the reg season was an easier path in the EC last season too. Too many variables to compare with just simply removing LBJ from the equation without an actual sample size.

It is and it isn't.

If you put this Lakers roster out East, you go to the Finals.

That's the point people are trying to make.

He can singlehandedly carry you to the Finals with that shitty Cavs roster.

But, that won't fly in the West.

The Lakers will improve across the board.

They will have a much better record.

Expecting them to win 50 plus with 5 or 6 new rotation players is tough in the West.

We know what their record without LeBron was the year before. And that was a significantly better team

Love how you spelled hole wrong while calling someone a dumbass.

Must be some good crack there.

Yep, didn't catch it in time. Shame that had to take away from you thinking Melo was their 3rd best player. Oh well. You got me grammar police.

And LeBron makes a hell of a difference.

They were 2-2 against them last year and that was without LeBron. And Lonzo for that matter too.

Since then they've upgraded multiple positions too.
Upgrade or not, OKC still has the better players outside of LBJ. I like JaVale, don't get me wrong, but he isn't giving LA what Adams gives OKC. Rondo/Ball can't shoot so that makes Felton the better match up in favor or OKC - and that's when RW is slid over to the 2. PG runs circles around Lance so....

I don't follow...LBJ played the last 4 years in Cle & hadn't missed any significant time.

Not feeling good about this. He’s young but hasn’t proven a thing to get that kind of deal. That’s top 3 money on a roster. I just don’t see him as a top 3 player on a contending team. Hopefully it works out

What do you guys see as the Lakers starting lineup?

Are they starting Mcgee and Who plays PF, Kuzma?

Who plays the four in OKC, Patterson?
Yes I think they start JaVale -he's the best C they have right now. Kuzma is too small to play PF. If I'm Luke I put Ingram at the 4 & move LBJ over to the 3. KCP at the 2 & Rondo as the starting PG. Kuz comes off the bench w/ Ball.

From what I read online it seems like the Bulls will still have a lot of cap space next offseason to try and land a big FA. But yeah it was a questionable offer sheet and match.

Since we're comparing OKC/LA - when they play ea other I switch LBJ & Ingram. LBJ plays the 4 & Ingram plays the 3. That gives OKC t he head to head match up advantage.

Ahh there's the word I'm looking for.

Lakers fans are back to calling others "haters" if they don't think the Lakers will be the greatest thing ever.

Bring me back to the CBS days.

They sound a lot like Heat fans when they had Lebron.
