Another big visit weekend coming up this weekend as Nebraska tries to get as many quality commits to sign on Dec. 20th as possible. I'll have a list up either Thursday or Friday as I'm still trying to confirm some.

Have to feel for POB and Gebbia. I’ve been looking forward to see them play since the got on campus. I hope they’re at least given a chance to win the job. Regardless this is where the NCAA needs to wake up and let them be eligible to play right away if they decide to transfer.

IMO the starting job is Gebbia’s to lose, the kid has the tools. Not sure how POB fits into SF offense, plus the Martinez kid is coming in off a torn labrum surgery

This pickup is massive.

More so than anybody realizes yet. He fits perfectly.

I hope he's OK with redshirting for a season to get back into playing condition and learn the play book. He could hit the ground running in 2019 and get this bitch rolling.

I wouldn't expect him to play until his sophomore season. I mean we do have talent in front of him. and the guy just went through surgery on his throwing hand. I hope POB AND BIG G stay

even though POB doesn't appear to be as fast as Gebbia, he played SF's type of offense in HS. Gebbia was more of a drop back passer. I posted their running stats somewhere, POB had like 600yds rushing his SR year, Gebbia was like 190yds.

I've said it before (and i think others as well), the running ability of the QB in this offense is really bonus. All he has to do is be a threat for 5 yard gains and that QB would be fine. It's much more important he can make the right reads and quickly so that the offense keeps humming along. sure you might not have the 40-50-60 yard break away runs from POB or even Tanner Lee, as long as either of them can make the right call to keep it, scooch around the end for 5 yards and keep ahead of the chains, they are doing a mighty fine job in the offense.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he plays as a true frosh.

He’s enrolling in January with the intentions of fighting for the starting position. Take that and add in the fact that he’s more mature and better than all QB’s we currently have on roster.

Frost ain’t afraid to start a newcomer.

In fact, assuming he’s fully capable of playing following the surgery (sounds like he is), I’d rather start him now and by year 3 we can really start gettin into this thing full speed.

Moos said himself he expects to see true progress by the end of year 2 and then be hittin the ground running full speed year 3. Start him now. Let him build while we rebuild instead of waiting.

I truly believe Frost can make his offense work with any skill set, even Lee could rip off an 8 yard gain or two but the game breaking ability of someone like Martinez (or even Gebbia) is what makes the offense special. Lee is out IMO, but don't short sell POB, he can rip off a 20 yard run with the best of them. We have options.

Another one not to forget about is Andrew Bunch, kid ran a 4.5 out of HS and has experience in ZR offenses as well.
