So we know we can get 4-star WRs and DBs.....

Now, can we get a couple of the big uglies? Oh how I'd love to see a big 4-star DLman.

We're still at "hidden gem" status/ "has a good frame" in terms of OL. Historically OL coaches don't take credit for commits on their side, but good god, get a fucking blue chip or two.

Coach Cav has to be sweating.

These commitment videos are getting so awkward and gay....

But I don't mind as long as they're wearing something with a red N at the end.

Is it just me, or did he just do a Bookie 2.0 on that video...

Bookie's video was the only one I've ever seen that I remotely identified with and didn't cringe the whole time.

I just feel like it's become some social thing that kids are pressured into doing now. I know not all of them really want to do it.

I mean, I get it. I was that age once too. I remember trying to stick with the trends because I wanted to get laid. This is just a weird trend to me. I would think parents of some of these recruits would be like......do we seriously have to make a movie to let everyone know what school my son is going to take classes at?

I also understand there are the Lonzo Balls of the world which keep it going....as well as the fact that this is a different era where people walk around with sticks attached to their phone to make it look like they're not taking a picture of themselves.

I just kinda wonder how far out of hand this shit will get to. I mean, 10 years down the road from now? 20? It could be weird.

Now we need dLine and o line. If Cavs doesn't improve the recruiting I think he's on the chopping block

J this world is completely fucked and I can't wait for Yellowstone super volcano to erupt but until that day I want the best for Nebraska football at least three or four national championships before I die

Wonder who we could get to be an offensive line coach I always thought would be interesting to get an army or navy offensive line coach because their offensive lines are considerably less weight than say a Texas or Alabama's offensive line but they still run the ball incredibly well especially at Navy under Paul Johnson so what do you think of that

Nebraska is handcuffed.

Fuck the old culture though. We'll take all the commits and decommits from blue chips we can. If they can play, get them in. If they don't fit, bye.

IMO if you don't fit here, you don't fit anywhere in the country. Perfect blend of everything you would want.

We need to become the IMG or the Bishop Gorman of College Football. You travel a long ways away to focus strictly on football and academics. Still cool shit to do obviously, but only occasionally.

What we need to do is make an IMG or Bishop Gorman in Nebraska and start recruiting kids to come to HighSchool here and raise our level of high school talent to that of a Jenks Oklahoma or a steele Texas

I think the most important recruit of the last two years has been Keyshawn Johnson, Jr.

He and his father made Nebraska cool and it has just snowballed from there. Throw in the 7-0 start in 2016 and people saw what is possible.

Pour me some more Koolaid.

You have to think Cav had his eyes opened when Banker was fired. I'm all for coaching consistency but if we can make an improvement we need to make it. Riley has to be tired of being known as mr. Rogers I think he wants to win at a big-time level and is going to do what it takes to get there if that means firing Cavanaugh and Davis then I think he will make the necessary changes. I hope he does.

Gotta build depth stool
Not sure what more you want. It took years to fuck up our depth on the lines and it will take years to get it back. Even if we could hypothetically sign a bunch of linemen in one year, we'd be in a horrible situation again 4 years down the road when the group graduated.

BTW Fuller is officially not on our commit list per Scout. That's been known for a while though.
