Those with no agenda think it's a joke LA lost their best player and have nothing to show for him. I would agree with you had Randle signed a ridiculous deal, but $9 mil per for 2 years?

Basically, he didn't want a reduced role and it was coming.....They used what they could have offered him on Rondo and needed a veteran PG more than Randle.....Randle took a discount to get out of LA basically.

The Celtics were caught in a tough spot. They basically had to accept that they would likely see their competition get better while they held their chips for the offseason. IMO, they are probably the 4th best team in the East now but if they get AD in the offseason it will be worth it.

I have San Diego vs San Antonio, I was personally hoping for Orlando vs Atlanta.

The Celtics were caught in a tough spot. They basically had to accept that they would likely see their competition get better while they held their chips for the offseason. IMO, they are probably the 4th best team in the East now but if they get AD in the offseason it will be worth it.

Going after AD might be too big of a gamble for the Celtics. It's gonna take a lot to get him. Don't wanna see the Celtics give a bunch of talent away for a 1 year rental.
