Things like this is why I think a Lakers/Warriors series would be interesting. It would be the best Warriors/Lebron series since the 2016 finals. Lakers got multiple guys that can defend and multiple guys that can create on their own as well.

Excluding the Center position, Lakers can throw a defensive lineup like this 1-4

Ball/Rondo
Stephenson/KCP
Ingram
Lebron

That is damn good IMO. Also even though Kuzma is a poor defender, against the Warriors you can hide him by having him guard Draymond or Iggy.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think a healthy Lakers bunch vs the Warriors is at least a 6 games series.

The problem is that lineup has no offense.

@thunderc what was the deal with Abrines? I know he missed a lot of time due to personal reasons. Did they ever go into detail in OKC?

On the Jump they say he was going thru " personal problems " that made it IMPOSSIBLE for him to be successful on the court.

Those were the exact words they used.

Da fuq does that even mean?

Is he gay?

Was he scoping Dude's in the shower?

He have some incurable disease?

Dude is getting 8 mil a year and has played in 33 of a possible 136 games.

Bullock will be finishing games and probably be starting at SG......eating up KCP and Stephenson's minutes.....he's not great but an upgrade and making almost 40% on treys.

And Muscala will be seeing the minutes at center Zubac was getting and may eat up some of McGee's and Chandler's......doubt he gets more than 18mpg but he's a center that can shoot from outside.....34% isn't great but for a center.....it's very good. You have to respect his ability to hit an open 3.

Yeah, I can see certain situations where he'd start at SG.....depending on the matchup on any given night....

I get that. I was just throwing out an example of a lineup they may use. They would likely use Kuzma instead of KCP/Stephenson and have him guard Draymond or Iggy. At least late in the game.

As for their defense, it is in the top half of the league which is solid.

I love the optimism, but this is a 4 or 5 games series.

They would be 4 or 5 competitive games where folks might say "If this or that had happened, the Lakers could have won that" after a couple of the games.

But I don't see them pushing the Warriors to 6 games unless Steph or KD has to sit out the series because of an injury.
