Well considering he didn't travel with the team on this road trip I guessed he would be out at least another week. If they are smart they're playing it safe & giving him as much healing time as possible. If he sustains another injury or re-injures that one that could spell bad news for the team's playoff chances this season. Not surprising. Groin and hamstring injuries are probably the 2 hardest to really get a definitive answer on.
Both can feel great and then one move can cause a recurrence.
My guess is that's part of it. I'd also guess that the Lakers are using this as a bit of a "test period" for the youngsters. They aren't expecting to win a title anyway, so may as well rest Lebron as much as possible and see how the kids respond to it to help them with decisions they will need to make later in the season and in the off-season.
Thicker, shorter Blake?Big issue I see is defense, but he's young. He can block shots, but he's not much of an on-ball defender from what I saw last night. 1-5 from 3, 1 assist even with Jones out most of the game. He's definitely not Lebron, but what will he be at the pro level?
Like Blake, he will give you a highlight dunk every other game.yeah but Blake is 6"10". Isn't Zion like the same height as Draymond Green but at 285?
Beat me to it.Not an exact comparison, they never are. Maybe Blake plus Barkley?
Thicker, shorter Blake?
But, I say young Larry Johnson.
Ouch...I was trying to think of comps, but holy shit I've stumbled on to an eerie comparison. Check out their body types, their builds, and even the strengths. It's uncanny. Zion is more explosive, but both are/were considered explosive athletes.
