That's actually opinion, but one I agree with. Also seems most would think Love is far higher on a list than Parker, which was why him and Love in that analogy was and is foolish. But keep deflecting.

The problem for teams like NOLA is they will always be a farming system for other teams unless they hit on several draft picks in a row.

They have to overpay to get average talent in free agency.

So, they have to get guys on rookie deals or that are signed to long-term, questionable contracts via trade.

I hate the Lakers.

But, I'd rather have Ingram, Kuz and Lonzo over Love if the rest of my roster is Shit.

A core of Lonzo, Kuz and Ingram... plus a nickel... gets you JACK SQUAT.

This is why I don't get why you think AD is so much better than the Minny version of Love, but to your comment and what NO should do I agree.

Gonna be tough for them as for a team like NO you really have to get lucky. While I appreciate Gilbert's willingness to spend I also know the Cavs were extremely lucky in Lebron being from Akron and the pingpong balls going their way to get Kyrie and Wiggins.

wont be fun, but I wonder if tanking is the way to go for NO....and as you say, be on the way up in 4-5 years.

NOLA wasn't making the playoffs with Davis.

So, might as well try to catch the Warriors when they are on the way down and you are on the way up.

I think the difference could be Boston wouldn't need to gut their team, though, as they could come up with a better package and still have a stronger team around AD IMO.
