KP didn't want to be there so they dealt him......they got 2 draft picks plus DSJ who could still improve to be a really good player.....and they can chase 2 max FA's this summer.

i think its getting to the point where its a risky proposition relying on Kyrie Irving to be your leader and franchise player.

He is one of those guys who seems more interested in winning on his own terms than sacrificing for the betterment of the team.

As talented as he is, he has some very real warts that impact his value to a franchise when compared to other elite players. You were never able to acknowledge them when he was a Cavalier.

Jalen Rose thinks NY won the trade.....I don't think they won it (that's still to be determined) but it's not as bad as some people think. They got 2 draft picks, a good young player in DSJ and a couple expiring contracts to create 2 max slots this summer (along with Porzy off the books), and they unloaded Hardaway's deal.
