Honestly,

If that actually happened, it would make the MVP award completely irrelevant.

You can't use it as a measure of individual greatness if Paul freaking George is a legit MVP candidate.

He is playing great. But cmon now.

LIke seriously. Forever take It out of GOAT conversation if this happens.

Steve Nash?

He might be top 5 already, Embiid is in the discussion too. Being able to stay healthy is a big key to winning the awards, although for Steph his time out might have proven his value to the Warriors as much as him playing has.

Jimmy Butler really hurt Embiid IMO. I think he is top 5 at the moment but I think he eventually slips out of the top 5

Outside of Russ a few years ago, it has been clearly obvious that team record matters when selecting the MVP. You pretty much must finish top 2 in your conference to get serious consideration

If the Lakers finish 6th out west, Lebron won't finish ahead of Paul George if the Thunder finishes top 2.

I don't know why him being in the mix makes it irrelevant, if he's playing like one of the best players in the league and leads OKC to the top spot he deserves to be top 5 imo. Doesn't mean he's gonna win it and he has to keep playing great the rest of the way, but it doesn't sound crazy. Are there 10 players who should be ahead of Paul George right now?

He's been a great player for years, numerous all star games and all NBA selections. It's not some out of nowhere player making it into the MVP conversation.

Taco Bell?

Ball sucks, and is going to be shipped out of LA super fast. His dad has been bitch slapped too..and really quiet

Half the teams in the nba suck...I don't get your irony either
honestly- that was the comment that sealed the deal. How anyone could actually say that Ball would start for half the teams in the league is beyond me.

I mean- maybe if they bonged 12 beers and took a handful of psychedelic mushrooms topped off with some peyote- but absent that- just pure idiocy.

He probably doesn't win it but he should be top 5 (maybe top 3) if he keeps this up and OKC continue to win games.

He is their best player, they're tied for 1st in the West, and he's only having his best season ever lol
he has been amazing. No 2 ways about it. He has played better than RW and has been a lot healthier

if the best player on the #1 team in the West is not in the conversation for MVP, why even have the award?
