Like I mentioned a few weeks ago if he Truly has thoratic issues that's a season ender most likely and could be why his stroke was so jacked.

Yeah.

And I HEard someone saying that the thoracic outlet diagnosis was a a diagnosis of exclusion.

Meaning they couldn't find anything structurally wrong so they went with that.

What a weird situation.

I'd rather have a package Boston could put together over LA if I was the Pelicans

It depends on a couple of things, imo.

There is no question that the Celtics can beat any offer the Lakers make. The question is will they?

If AD truly wants to go to the Lakers and his relationship with the Pelicans FO is good, then the Pelicans may decide to accommodate him and send him to the Lakers ala when the T-Wolves traded KG to the Celtics years ago.

I believe that AD can become a free agent after next season (player option). If he makes it clear that he's not signing with anyone else, the Celtics may decide it's not worth it for a 1.5 year rental.

Especially when they can put together a package that could get them a top player that will re-sign with them.

Watched the Charlo fights last night.....kid got robbed......a draw would have been a stretch IMO. Not sure how the judges gave the fight to Harrison.....

It would be a 1 year rental.

0% chance the Pelicans trade him this season.

Because their best hope is that he resigns long term. They will hold onto that hope at least until he turns down their extension offer this summer.

He probably doesn't win it but he should be top 5 (maybe top 3) if he keeps this up and OKC continue to win games.

He is their best player, they're tied for 1st in the West, and he's only having his best season ever lol

PG-13 MVP talk is for real

If the Thunder finish 1st in the West, he'd have a shot. Beating out Kawhi, Giannis, Steph, and LeBron would be tough but he's been great.

I think he finishes top 5...possibly top 3 if they finish top 2 out West.

If Kawhi never plays a B2B, he will be eliminated from serious conversation.

Steph is one more injury away from being eliminated for not playing in enough games either.

Honestly,

If that actually happened, it would make the MVP award completely irrelevant.

You can't use it as a measure of individual greatness if Paul freaking George is a legit MVP candidate.

He is playing great. But cmon now.

LIke seriously. Forever take It out of GOAT conversation if this happens.

He might be top 5 already, Embiid is in the discussion too. Being able to stay healthy is a big key to winning the awards, although for Steph his time out might have proven his value to the Warriors as much as him playing has.
