I just don't want to see Georgia in the playoff. They're a damn good team, but have 2 losses. If OK gets screwed & the Bulldogs get in just rename the playoff the SEC Invitational.

No way Georgia gets in now. Alabama would have, Georgia won't.

That is why everyone should have been rooting for a Georgia win on Saturday. 2 SEC teams + Independent ND = 1 bid for the other 4 power conferences.

That would have to lead to a playoff expansion. The current system is beyond stupid. 5 power conferences and 4 bids? Insane. Expand to 8, give power conference champs an automatic bid and leave room for 3 wild cards.

Then teams like Georgia and UCF can get invited to the party too.

It's better than what we had because it does involve more teams. But, we also end up with the same debates that we had with the BCS and the "Bowl Alliance" (or whatever that was).

I'd say that any time you have a system where part of a teams case is that they have "better losses" than other teams, the system at least needs to be tweaked if not replaced.
