I missed this last night... pretty awesome/ridiculous.Lmfao @ Hezonja hitting the Freak with the Iverson step over.
@Wamu
I cant lie...i hope the Buckeyes make the CFP but i think its doubtful they do-- even though i think if they played Oklahoma and or Notre Dame they would beat either team on a neutral field......i think the Sooners will likely get in over them.
It will be fun to bitch slap whatever team the Pac-12 decides to send to the Rose Bowl again this year I suppose.
The problem is if Ohio State makes the playoff they'll be the # 4 seed & face Bama. And w/ the swiss cheese D the Buckeyes have this year it would get ugly. I got no problem going to the Rose Bowl & probably facing Washington.
Probably doesn't matter who the 4 seed is, they are going to get abused by Bama.
You know Saban isn't going to be happy with them almost losing the SECCG last night, so he's gonna spend the next few weeks making them pay and have them looking to take it out on someone.
It's Bama & then everyone else this year. If a team upsets them in the playoff it'll go down as 1 of the biggest upsets of all time.

That is what I thought too for most of the season.
But Clemson can beat them. And I think it is close to 50-50.
Alabama's defense is not impenetrable and Tua can struggle if you make him get off his first read. Clemson is capable of putting up 30+ Points on Bama and their defensive line is good enough to pressure Tua into some mistakes.
If Alabama plays their A game, they are unbeatable, but I think Clemson has enough on both sides of the ball to make that unlikely. They have a real shot if they can get past ND.
I don't think Clemson beating them would be a huge upset. It would be an upset, but not as big as if anyone else beat them.
Assuming Bama, Clemson, N.D. & OK are the playoff teams the only 1 that would give the Tide a game would be the Tigers.
I agree with that 100%.
Georgia gave Alabama fits, and Clemson is better than Georgia. But you are right. I don't think the other 2 match up as well.
I just don't want to see Georgia in the playoff. They're a damn good team, but have 2 losses. If OK gets screwed & the Bulldogs get in just rename the playoff the SEC Invitational.
Yeah, I never understood the assumption that new members weren't fans of their teams before the day they joined SportsHoopla. Kind of silly.
That's why I favor an 8 team playoff (but no bigger).
Winning a conference should mean something. As it stands, at least 1 conference champion is left out every season. In years when a conference gets 2 teams in, then 2 conference champs are out.
This year, with ND unbeaten, we have the possibility that 3 conference champions could be left out.
In an 8 team playoff, you could have all 5 of the P5 conference champs and 3 "at large" berths. This year would mean all 5 conference champs, Notre Dame, UGA and maybe UCF all get in.
Yep. It happened on the previous page.
