kind of crazy how that 2016 draft is shaping up though...Ball and Fultz went 1 and 2.....now neither would be in the top 5.....

1. Mitchell
2. Tatum
3. Markenen
4. Fox

5. id take Isaac but Kuzma has a nice case...maybe even DSJ....

Complimenting a Laker player?

OMG. Has Hell frozen over?

yah....a broke college kid being forced to sit out a year to transfer schools--- or an NFL coach making millions going to his teams rival TWO weeks later......fair comparison.
Lmfao

Look, I have zip against Baker.

He is fucking fantastic.

But, you can't fire a Dude and then try and dictate where he goes afterwards.

I mean, I didn't hear you say a thing when Bogut signed with the Cavs.

:noidea:
A week later,month or year...

Makes no difference.

He wasn't good enough for the Browns.

So, he can go where he chooses.

Hue definitely has the right to do what he wants to do - and i think it was smart for him to get right back in because if he didnt he might never get a good job again. The problem with taking that job is that hte Bengals defense is just a mess so it might actually hurt him.

Baker is not begrudging Hue making a living- he is just not going to be best buddies with a coach who (a) stupidly never even gave him 1st team reps until Tyrod was hurt, (b) gets fired and goes to his teams rival a couple weeks later.

Baker isnt begrudging Hue making a living, and he did shake hands with him, but he is not gonna be buddy buddy with the guy- a coach that did a terrible job, held Baker back, and then went to a rival team.
Fair enough.

I don't know anything about Hue.

But, if he had school age kids, wife has ties to the community, or if he simply just likes Ohio, this makes sense.

Moving sucks.

I'd rather commute instate vs. uprooting mid Season....or at all.

whats so funny about the Sixers and Cavs discussing a Fultz trade?

makes sense to me- a rebuilding team taking a chance on a high lotto pick that has lost much of his value.

Yeah, I think it's a low risk/high reward situation for the Cavs if they make the trade.

It's not likely to cost them much (certainly not what a #1 pick would usually command).

If Fultz truly is a bust, then they haven't lost much and can just cut him loose.

If he eventually plays at least close to his draft status, then they will have gotten a very good player without losing anything important.

Provides him with an opportunity to work on whatever is going on with him without the pressure of having to win right now.

exactly-

i certainly dont expect him to play like a high lotto pick if they get him--- but if the price is right it might be worth the gamble.

we shall see.

Sexton has been playing great ball of late. I wouldnt want the Cavs to do anything to upset that- but Fultz and Sexton both seem to have the skillset to play the 1 or 2 at times (as most guards in the NBA can do nowadays).

I would expect Korver to be involved in a trade if this happens. I mean do you wantva 2nd round pick or Fultz? Obviously, more would be involved. I am not a fan of Fultz but maybe he needs to be in the right system and needs the right coaching, who knows

I think TMZ Mecca is slipping, don't remember hearing you post Kim Porter died?

45 and causes undetermined but she had been fighting pneumonia......people still die from that?
Yea that seemed pretty strange to say the least. How much child support was Diddy paying her again? :hmm:

the Cavs could tell him- rest up, let all your injuries heal- we dont want to see you for 2 months until yo uare 100%, and then bring him along extremely slowly in an environment with no pressure at all.

It seems thats what he needs. He cant be expected to contribute on a playoff contender like the Sixers at this point. Give the Sixers someone (or two someones) that CAN contribute , and hten move on.

Korver has a team option for next year that is fairly inexpensive too in case they want to move off of Reddick in order to save money to sign Butler as well.

I would think that some combination of Korver/Hood/Clarkson for Fultz (and prob. some cap flotsam) would help the Sixers- and im not sure they could get more elsewhere at this point.

Hue has big time ties to Cincy. Its not a surprise he went there at all.

the Browns players (many more than just Baker) think its a little disingenuous to preach team/family, ask guys to lay it on the line for him as a coach, and for him to show up 2 weeks later on a division rival. Thats never really happened before in the NFL. Even if it was next season that would be one thing.

he has every right to do what he did- but the Browns players have every right to not be buddy-buddy with him.

Reminds me of the Kings, playing hard despite low expectations coming into the season. And in the East they have a good chance to make the playoffs
Good game the other night between GS & Sacto. They are definitely motivated this season.

IMO, the Sixers biggest needs are a defensive guard and a big who can shoot a little and bang it around in the paint.
Don't you guys already have this in Embiid?

Feel like I've been out of the NBA loop the last week or two. What are the hot takes we have going on today. Don't mention that Dwight shit either, lol.
