It's entirely possible that no GM thinks that Fultz has any value. It is also entirely possible that several GMs see him as a guy who just needs the right environment. I have no idea.

Everyone thought that Oladipo was straight up bust after failing with 2 different teams. And yet he was the centerpiece in a trade to bring in Paul George.
This is the proper way to handle trolling.

Good for Markelle.

Because he said nothing when all this nonsense started his rookie year, the Shit just got bigger and bigger.

I like that he can laugh about it now.

@CitySushi , @thunderc , @bksballer89 , @ChiefsLakers67

For the remainder of the Season, I will refrain from making statements about SG-A, Donovan Mitchell and any other young player that I am fond of.

Obviously, my black magic mojo is already at maximum strength.

Who are the 3 young guys that I keep pumping up?

Caris Levert, Diallo and Trier.

How many of those guys still have 2 working legs?

Allonso.

Thank goodness both injuries were not as bad as they looked.

That was a warning shot from the basketball Gods....lol

I don't.

I don't think anyone outside of that Community even gives it a second thought.

That wasn't the point I took umbrage with.

To say people should just shut up about major atrocities in history because that demographic is better off today because it happened, is vile and disgusting.

The victims of 9/11 got like a 38 BILLION dollar settlement.

You think those children who were born after that event feel like living a comfortable life was a great trade-off for having a building fall on their loved ones?

Because according to @thunderc , since they were not alive when it happened and they profited, they should stop bitching.

Obviously, that wasn't the example that he used.

But, 9/11, slavery, the holocaust, mass school shootings etc. are all events that have no silver lining.

To suggest otherwise is truly sickening.

I know exactly what you are saying Mecca, my point is that no one should blame people that had nothing to do with it. That’s what makes me sick, sorry but none of it is any more my families fault than it is anyone eleses. Way too much whoa is me in this country. Blame never does anything to help ones situation, in fact it does the opposite by building in excuses and creating resentment that serves no purpose.

Fair enough.

I am guilty of being so dug in on a topic that I refuse to acknowledge the other person's perspective.

I understand your point and grudgingly agree on some of it.

:suds:

Ps. Glad Diallo is going to be okay.

"significant picks"

words mean something.

EAD

Only to you. Everyone here knows exactly what he meant by his statement.

But you try to twist his words and make them mean something they don't to try to "win" your argument on a technicality instead of actually talking about the point in the first place. It is absolutely pathetic.

Fox is gonna be a great one.

Even if you ignore his loads of talent and athleticism- he is also a really good guy, a really hard worker, and wants to be a leader.

He is the type of guy that helps turn around franchises.
Fox's leadership has been big and he usually makes smart plays in crunch time when a game is close. The team is full of guys who are easy to root for.

No one is blaming your specific family for anything. You think that because your racial identity group is being blamed. Mecca's racial identity group considers this part of our history as central to their experience. To argue that they should pretend otherwise is completely unrealistic and unfair.

This prob needs to go to the politics board but my point is nothing is going to change the past. Lot of time being wasted trying to and in truth it only makes things worse.

Yeah, that is probably the appropriate place for this Convo.

But, like @trojanfan12 said last week, this is one of the few places that we can discuss polarizing topics without it devolving into a shit show.

I appreciate the fact that we were able to talk honestly with eachother.

The world would be a better place, with fewer misunderstandings, if everyone could do so.

So.....moving on now.

The repercussions of the past are still felt today.
And it's equally true that living in resentment is a bad way for an individual to live their life.

It's not an either/or... it's a both/and.

Yes, the past still affects us.

Now what?
