At least the Caps are good. Then again, I don't watch hockey.

As of today.....the Redskins are a playoff team and they brought in Mark Sanchez to back up Colt McCoy after Alex Smith broke his leg. They still can make the playoffs if McCoy plays well, although Kap would have been a better fit IMO than Sanchez.

Bruce Allen is a joke.

He had a franchise QB and refused to resign him. Granted, Cousins isn't great, but he is a lot better than Alex Smith.

So he traded a good young DB and a valuable pick to pay a 32 year old QB 25 million instead of just paying a younger, better QB 28 million.

The Redskins face a must win Thursday against Dallas. If they pull it off, they have a shot to make the playoffs. They lose and they are done. But as soon as they play a decent team in the playoffs they are done anyway.

And while Kap is a better player than Sanchez, he is a terrible option as a back up QB because he is polarizing and because you would have to run a completely different offense were he to take over.
