Franchise starting to get better. Best they've looked in a long time. Let's dump the coach. THE KANGZ ARE BACK! I knew the Kangz were lurking in there somewhere.

Seriously though, that'd be a stupid move. If they wanted playoffs, they should have drafted Luca. It's not like the roster is a playoff team anyway. It's young and Joerger has been getting the most out of them as far as I can tell. Doncic would have at least boosted their chances.
Seems like it's more about PT for young players than struggling to make the playoffs. Bagley will get more minutes and should be moved into the starting lineup later in the season. Giles doesn't need a ton of minutes this season and is foul prone when he does play. The FO put together a team with 7 PF/C, not the coach. I don't know if Dave is the long term answer but he's their 5th coach in 6 years, having some stability is what this young team and the franchise in general needs. But in the end, Kangz gonna Kangz.

Great stat line.

But, he's averaging 14 ppg.

Jimmy is the 2nd scorer.

If Ben doesn't develop a jumper, I expect it to be that way all Season.

2nd scorer doesn't = 2nd best player.

'best' is subjective

I think they will work together to get the 'W' over who has the stats.
Embiid was 8-12 in the first half and 1-11 in the 2nd half.
Butler will get the accolades (and rightfully so) for his defense and winning shot, but it was one of Ben's best games this season.

They will still need some time.
I really think Wilson Chandler adds something on defense when he gets healthy.
And it remains to be seen what we can get from Zhaire Smith, defensively, in the new year.
Will that be enough to contend in the East? Probably.

What happens at the trade deadline and buyouts/additions to the team will most likely loom large for us and could very well be the deciding factor.

Hard to win if your starting pg gets cooked by DJ Augustin.

I'm not one of the folks that likes to shit on Lonzo.

But, this is how he responds to having job security because Rondo is out?

Meh, wasn't just Lonzo. The entire team was a step slow on defense yesterday. There was zero defensive help.

Yes, but he has slow on both ends of the court.

Augustine cooked Hart too.

But, at least Hart got a little bit back on the offensive end.

He can't give you 0 point efforts.

I'm not counting on Smith giving you anything more than a few Sports Center plays the first few years.

He's a otherworldly athlete.

But, he can't shoot either.

Chandler?

Yeah, I really liked that pick up.

But, you need another shooter before I put you with Boston and Toronto.

Korver would be good.

Beal would make you favorites out East...imo

But, are there enough basketballs?

So, maybe Lou Williams would be better.

Sad how Lonzo was playing better when Rondo was still the starter

Orlando is fools gold. I have a friend who is an Orlando fan, and every year he runs his mouth early...Watch and see how the season unfolds...They will be in the lottery by the end of the year...Just watch

Is this the same team?

Not saying they will make the playoffs in the EC buy I think it's possible they win 33-37 games....that'd be an improvement over last season's 2 wins.

And 33-37 wins is a lot more than the Cavs will get.

Exactly.

I said it last night.

This is how he responds to a few weeks of job security?

I still like Lonzo.

But, what's the point of having him out there with Lebron and Ingram?

He would be really good next to a guy like Booker.

Phoenix is trying to make him into the next Harden.

He's had double digit assists the last two games.

But, this isn't a long-term solution.

The Lakers Kiddie Corps were yuck.

But, I like Hart and Kuz with Lebron.

They should really consider dealing Zo before his value becomes nonexistent like Fultz.

He just doesn't fit with Lebron.

With that being said, the Magic youngins weren't great.

They won because Augustin cooked Lonzo/Hart and nobody on the roster could stop Vuvecic.

But, yeah....

Bamba, Gordon, Issac > Lonzo, Ingram, Kuz.

Sub Hart for Lonzo and it's closer.

I think we’re going to see Fultz’s value slowly increase. He’s not starting anymore and I think he’ll have more leeway to just be himself coming off the bench. As much as everyone said Fultz was a perfect fit for Philly, I’m not sure he can play alongside Simmons.

That's actually pretty common for dynasties, trying to stay engaged and hungry year after year. Yet another reason KD might want to leave. It's also a big reason why it's so hard to win year after year, why three-peats are so rare, etc.

BOOM.

You smart.

What's up with him playing hot potato with the ball before shooting FT's?

LOL.

It's the same team.

They basically replaced Biyombo with a younger, bigger, better version of himself in Bamba.

But, the same.

I think the answer is obvious.

Their young guys are a year better, healthier and they underachieved most of last year.

We'll, except those two games they came back from 20 plus points down against LeBron and the Cavs.

They did pretty well those games.

Don't take the bait.
