It is absolutely debateable. Just look at the schedules to date.

Phoenix 3-11

Vs DAL 6-8
@ DEN 9-5
@ GS 12-3
Vs LAL 8-6
@ MEM 8-5
@OKC 9-5
VS SA 7-6
VS TOR 12-3
VS MEM 8-5
VS BRK 6-9
@NO 7-7
@OKC 9-5
VS SA 7-6

That is a total of 2 games against sub .500 opponents and neither of them are pushovers. They won 1 of those, also adding wins at home against Memphis and SA.

Miami on the other other hand?

Miami: 6-8

@ORL 7-8
@ WAS 5-9
VS CHA 7-7
VS NY 4-11
VS POR 10-4
VS SAC 8-6
@ CHA 7-7
@ ATL 3-11
@ DET 7-6
VS SA 7-6
VS IND 8-6
VS WAS 5-9
VS PHI 9-7
@ BRK 6-9

6 games against sub .500 opponents here. 0 games against Toronto, Milwaukee or Boston and all 3 West games were home.

Flip the schedule and you can probably flip the records too. Phoenix ain't bad and Miami isn't that good.

Phoenix literally get blown out in damn nearly every single game. Even in losses, Miami is always in the game some point in the 4th.

If Phoenix was actually playing these teams somewhat close then you would have a point.

I could bet money when Miami play these teams, they're not losing by 15-25 points and I'm pretty sure they'll win more games than Phoenix

They will defintely win more games than Phoenix.

Because 10 of the worst 12 teams in the NBA reside in the East. That is my entire point.

Miami would win more games than Phoenix even if they're in the west.

Also, 15 - 20 isn't close, but there are a lot of 20 point games that aren't exactly blowouts either.

The Suns played 14 games and in 8 of those games, they were defeated by 17-30 points. There is absolutely nothing from the Suns this year that should make anyone think they're better any average basketball team

Maybe.

But you said it isn't debateable. And it is.

Because comparing records does nothing. Miami plays an infinitely easier schedule by virtue of their conference. Also, I take Booker and Ayton over anybody on Miami's roster.

Miami is even more comparable to Dallas, who is the 2nd worst team in the West.

I never said they were.

But neither are the Heat or the Hornets.

Put either in the West and they lose 50 plus for sure.

I know it isn't close. If you know anything about Miami then you should know that they're always in basketball games.

Lastly,

Think about the impact of the Suns schedule on a young team.

ALMost Every single night they play somebody better than them. Give them games against teams like the Hawks, Knicks, Wizards and Cavs once a week and maybe they could build a little confidence which would breed more winning.

They are getting beat up by very good teams.

And this means absolutely nothing lol. There are a lot of teams with players better than anyone on Miami's roster but somehow Miami manage to finish with a better record than a lot of those teams.

Not really. If Miami goes 1-1 or sweep Houston, does that means they're the better team?

Miami isn't playing good right now which is obvious to anyone who actually follows them. There been a shit load of games that could have ended as Heat wins instead of losses as bad as they been. Suns are not better than them. The only teams in the East you can even make a case of the Suns being better than are Hawks, Cavs, Knicks, Bulls, and maybe Orlando

Miami/Orlando-Heat trailed by 1 with the ball
Miami/Charlotte- Charlotte won a game winning ft in the final seconds
Miami/Atlanta-Tied game with under 4 to go
Miami/Indy- Heat had a 6 point lead with under 4 to go before collapsing....No Dragic or Wade in this game in addition to the 2 guys still out due to surgery.

There is the difference between 6-8 and 10-4 for that team that has played poorly most of the season and can only get better at this point.

Let the schedule normalize a bit then we will see.

And I am not trying to pick on the Heat. They are gritty and tough. They are just an example of the middle class in the East that is frankly pretty mediocre.

And the Suns are DEFINITELY better than the teams you mentioned. Only one there that is somewhat debateable is Orlando.
