Its gonna be really interesting to see what Draymond gets on the open market if he becomes a free agent. Is he a max guy? He's great for the warriors. I just dont think he'll be great anywhere else. His open looks comes from Klay, Steph and KD being heavily guarded. He would have to go to another championship caliber team in order to be somewhat great.

I think this is a fair take, but it really is dependent on more so the team philosophy. He's not going to be great in a system that is methodical. He's built for the uptempo game and he's an essential cog, but not necessarily a primary player. I think he's max money caliber, as is say a Khris Middleton, but he definitely needs the right fit to thrive. He wouldn't have the same impact on a team like Toronto as he would a team like Houston, etc.

Durant is gone

Draymond brought KD into this world. He can easily be the one to take him out.

Draymond/Bob Myers already concocted all this during the offseason. They knew KD was eventually going to leave, so they create this turmoil during the season giving the Warriors just cause to trade him for young players and cap space. Team refuels for the future, gives open cap space to Boogie, allows them to max Klay and Draymond.

LIGHT YEARS AHEAD.

Anybody care to bet KD ends up on the Lakers?

I could see him going there to try and beat the W's now....

:heh:

I think GS needs him more than Thompson. He leads the team in apg, Curry is a good passer but he's esentailly another SG....

The offense goes through Green.....

As I said, he needs the right fit. Draymond is integral to the teams success. If he wasn't there, the Warriors would have to completely retool the way it operates both offensively and defensively. They don't necessarily have to do that if anyone of Steph, KD or Klay is not playing in a given game.

Not saying he's just a SG because he has been beasting it......but you can find shooters more than you can find point forward's like Green.

This is coming from somebody who prefers Thompson and wouldn't want Green anywhere near his team.

Draymond is actually the guy you want for your team this year, given circumstances.

Nope.

James and Green both need the ball in their hands.....Plus, Green's a headcase ala Rodman and I don't want him under any circumstances.

Fair enough, I'm more than happy to keep him. As would 28 other teams I would estimate. Well maybe 27, OKC's probably out of that running.

Green does not need the ball in his hands at all. And when he gets it, he is usually looking to swing it to someone else. He is basically the PF version of Lonzo Ball on the offensive end.

He can go quarters without really being involved offensively and he just fine as long as his teammates are making good decisions.

I wouldn't say Green is a headcase if you're on his team. He is just a very emotional guy.

I also wouldn't say Green exactly need the ball in his hands. He can handle the ball but it's not like he's running the Warriors offense very frequently

People also forget he's easily one of the top 5 defenders in the NBA at worst. So that helps.

My list of GS players I'd want and in order:

1-KD
2-CUrry
3-Thompson

You have 1 and 2 clearly wrong.
