Green does not need the ball in his hands at all. And when he gets it, he is usually looking to swing it to someone else. He is basically the PF version of Lonzo Ball on the offensive end.

He can go quarters without really being involved offensively and he just fine as long as his teammates are making good decisions.

And you can see how Ball is working with James.....not so great so no thanks.

Plus, Green is shooting 24% and made just 30% last season.

People also forget he's easily one of the top 5 defenders in the NBA at worst. So that helps.

Once Draymond is not asked to be a 1st or 2nd scoring option, he would be solid at minimum on basically every other team

Nope. Not saying I wouldn't want Curry but I'd prefer KD. James would average a career-high in apg with him on the team.

KD would be the preferable option on a number of teams, but Curry would be more valuable to the Lakers, IMO.

KD and Lebron would eventually lead to a your turn my turn situation once again. Curry is optimal for floor spacing, P&R and off ball movement for a guy as ball dominant as Lebron. It's why KD and Curry work. It's not because of KD's game...it's because of Steph's.

Meh, you're smarter than me so whatever.....

I still want KD next summer, he's a FA. Curry isn't. So there.

This should lead to a whole other side topic in this thread and glad I could start it....

I'm just a Curry fan boy to some extent. But there are real tangibles to Curry's game that help him to transition and play with another superstar. He created the Warriors culture, style of play and their camaraderie. None of what the Warriors have accomplished could have been done without him. They'd be OKC-lite if Steph just wanted to gun all the time (which who could really argue).

It's why I have been saying you can't just assume a title.....there are other factors in play, not just on the court.
Me too, when people say oh the Warriors are a lock to win 5 in a row it's so stupid.

I am not saying he is a great fit for the Lakers.

But he would fit great with LeBron if they remade their roster. But no, you wouldn't want Ball and Dray together with LeBron.

That said, your comment about Green needing the ball is still dead wrong. That is why I made the Ball comparison. Because Ball doesn't need to dominate the ball either.

Nope.

James and Green both need the ball in their hands.....Plus, Green's a headcase ala Rodman and I don't want him under any circumstances.
Green is a playmaker.

But, he's not a ball hog.

Agree about him being a turdbird.

2 of the 4 Warriors all stars are fighting mid game before losing and one of the best coaches ever says the Kings culture has "changed drastically". Bizarro World.

Is that before or after they trade for Davis?

Svi, Mo Wagner and a conditional 2035 2nd rounder should get it done because everyone knows he wants to be a Laker.

:lou:
Don't forget Lillard.
